Chapter 578 - Chapter 219: Lily: Wait, So My Teacher Became My Daughter-in-law!? (8000)_5

"Oh, it's fine," Mr. Leme said with a chuckle, "It's just a little prank—thanks to your husband's family, Bone Spirit is quite effective for us elderly folks with osteoporosis as well. But I decided to disguise it as a prank on my hand to amuse the new friends..."

Prank?

Lily immediately felt something was wrong.

No, I thought I had actually broken your bones!

James, however, looked intrigued; after all, he loved pranks.

Mr. Leme's action clearly suited his taste.

"Was it Mr. Leme who made us travel through time?" Lily tried to change the subject.

"No, it wasn't," Mr. Leme laughed and ran over to sit next to Lupin, "You are here because of a gem called 'Desire,' as the name suggests, it fulfills one's deepest desires."

"Harry held that gem, and his deepest desire was for his father and mother," Mr. Leme concluded.

"Is that how it is?" Lily murmured.

She couldn't help but feel heartache; even though Harry could be said to have achieved great success, he still deeply yearned for the love of a father and mother.

Seeing his mother's expression, Harry quickly changed the topic: "By the way, Mom, Dad, do you have any plans?"

"Plans for what?" James looked up, not quite realizing what his son meant.

"Oh, I almost forgot," Little Sirius said with a chuckle, "Since you two are back, you should find something to do. For instance, Lupin and I are currently teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts."

"Hey, you two are teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts?" James laughed, "I say, how are you two teaching... No, doesn't Moon Face have a bit of a problem? How could Dumbledore allow him to be a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor?"

"It's a long story, but recently a wizard developed a Wolf Poison Potion," Lupin cheerfully explained to his best friend, "If taken a week before the full moon, even when a werewolf transforms, it retains its sanity—it's a complex potion to brew, but being a Hogwarts professor comes with some perks, so we can trouble our Potion Professor to brew some Wolf Poison Potion for me every month."

"Potion Professor? Professor Slughorn?" James raised an eyebrow and asked, "Oh, that old guy, he never liked me, really has no taste—but he and Lily got along well, is he still around?"

"He's definitely still around," Lupin said before correcting himself, "But currently, it's not Slughorn teaching Potions at Hogwarts."

"Not Slughorn?" James became interested and eagerly asked, "If not Slughorn, then who could it be?"

"Ahem," Little Sirius cleared his throat and revealed, "The person teaching Potions is someone we're all very familiar with..."

"Is it Frank?" James referred to Neville's father, Frank Longbottom, who used to excel in Potions back in school.

Just like how Professor Slughorn's back problem protruded.

"No, it's not Frank," Little Sirius sighed, "The Longbottoms aren't doing well at the moment, receiving treatment at Saint Mangos..."

"Then who is it?" James scratched his head, "Could it be McKinnon? I remember she was quite good at Potions too?"

"McKinnon... uh," Little Sirius sighed, "Her entire family was killed by Death Eaters..."

"Merlin..." James sighed along and asked once more, "Then who could the Potion Professor be? I really can't think of anyone."

Little Sirius cleared his throat and shook his head regretfully, "None other than our classmate Severus Snape..."

The living room fell into silence, a prolonged silence.

At that moment, Dumbledore and Snape pushed open the door.

As soon as they did, they were greeted with a loud roar from inside.

"What!? That Snot Spirit actually became a professor at Hogwarts?! This can't be! Absolutely impossible! Has Dumbledore gone senile to make such a foolish decision?!"
