In the end, the result of rock-paper-scissors was that Goku would go on stage first, Piccolo second, Gohan third, and Vegeta last.
This made Vegeta very unhappy, but there was nothing he could do!
Who decided the order of rock-paper-scissors? Even though Vegeta was annoyed, he had to endure it.
That was the rule.
"Tsk, so boring," Vegeta snorted, realizing he would be the last to appear.
As the last fighter, he didn't know if he would even get another chance to fight. That was what worried him.
After a moment, the hatch opened, and a man appeared.
Pui smiled and said, "I will be your opponent. Who will fight me first?"
"Let's start!" Goku stepped forward with a smile.
Pui spread his hands and grinned. "I will help Master Babidi and wipe out all of you."
"Lord Babidi, please help me move to a planet similar to the one I was born on. The gravity there is ten times that of Earth. I believe I can defeat these people faster," Pui requested.
Babidi, on the other side, laughed happily. "Haha! Very good, Pui. I believe you can definitely defeat them."
With that, Babidi used his magic.
The area where Goku and the others were began to spin, and in an instant, their positions changed. The gravity increased tenfold.
Piccolo frowned. "Looks like Babidi just did something really stupid."
"Yes! Uncle Piccolo, ten times the gravity isn't a problem for us at all," Gohan replied with a smile.
They had long been accustomed to high gravity, so ten times Earth's gravity felt insignificant to them.
For the Z Warriors, it was basically harmless.
Pui laughed. "How does it feel? From now on, this place will be your grave!"
He laughed wildly, confident in the advantage the environment gave him. Originally unsure of his strength, Pui now felt invincible.
Just as Pui was about to attack Goku, Goku suddenly disappeared. When he reappeared, he was already behind Pui.
Goku placed his hand on Pui's back. "This farce of a game ends now."
Before Pui could even react, Goku destroyed him with an energy blast.
The entire fight took less than a minute—maybe only half a minute.
Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta weren't surprised at all. They had long grown accustomed to Goku's overwhelming power.
Supreme Kai Shin rubbed his eyes, unsure if he had seen it clearly.
Meanwhile, Babidi was stunned. Were they really that powerful?
Dapra on the side said soothingly, "Lord Babidi, there's no need to worry. Whatever happens, I'm here."
"As long as I'm here, I won't let them reach the lowest level, Master Babidi. I'll increase my strength and condition to the maximum," Dapra added. His words seemed to reassure Babidi somewhat.
On Goku's side, the entrance to the second floor opened again. No one was surprised.
When Goku, Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, and Supreme Kai Shin arrived, the panoramic view was almost the same as the previous floor.
Piccolo shouted, "Babidi, who are you sending out next? I'm getting impatient—don't blame me if I bomb this place!"
In less than half a minute, the hatch opened, revealing a very ugly monster.
[Note from the original novel: Yakon is one of Babidi's subordinates. He comes from a dark planet and can consume anything. At first, he looked down on Goku and absorbed the energy Goku used to transform into a Super Saiyan. However, Yakon eventually overate and exploded.]
Yakon smiled. "I know who you are, a Namekian."
"It's rare that you know me," Piccolo replied with a smile.
Piccolo didn't take Yakon seriously. No matter how strong Yakon might be, he had little chance of survival.
"Come on! Yakon, let's start a new round of battle," Piccolo challenged.
