Chapter 255 - Chapter 256: Leave None Behind!

At a cafe in Ikebukuro Station, Tokyo, Rei walked out of his office.

He had just received an order from Rum telling him to eliminate a Unification Church stronghold, along with several high-ranking individuals connected to the Unification Church.

At this moment, Rei was overjoyed.

As a member of Japan's Security Bureau, he was well aware of what the Unification Church had done.

As someone with a strong sense of justice and a love for his country, he felt a deep disgust toward the Unification Church.

However, as a public servant, even if he clearly knew about the Unification Church's improper actions, as long as the higher-ups had not issued an order, it was not appropriate for him to act against its members.

Now that he had received instructions from the Black Organization, he had an excuse to completely eliminate this religious group he had always found objectionable.

"I didn't expect the Organization to actually do a good deed."

Rei muttered to himself.

The various missions he had encountered in this Organization were either intelligence gathering or assassinations. Rei always had to rack his brain to find ways to save the assassination targets.

However, for this killing mission given to him by the Organization, Rei was genuinely looking forward to it and was more than willing to do it.

For the first time, he felt that this Organization, which was not bound by the law and killed decisively, actually had its advantages.

"But who exactly is Martini? How did he gain Rum's trust so easily?"

Rei frowned, his expression growing more troubled.

The entire Black Organization was simply too vast. Rei had been undercover for so long, yet all he had investigated was only the tip of the iceberg.

In the end, out of helplessness, Rei chose to focus only on investigating Rum's identity and the Boss behind the Black Organization, hoping to destroy the Organization by eliminating its mastermind.

And now, it seemed that many elites had joined the Organization, which made Rei feel that not only had he failed to uncover its true foundation after investigating for so long, but that it had become even more mysterious.

"Never mind, let's not worry about Martini for now. Let's deal with the Unification Church first."

"By eliminating so many of the Unification Church's high-ranking officials, this cult probably won't be able to stir up trouble for at least ten years."

Previously, for various reasons, the Japanese government had been unwilling and unable to take action against the Unification Church. At most, they would just talk about it to give the public an explanation.

But if the Unification Church were wiped out like this, some insiders in official circles would definitely prevent this church from returning to Japan.

Some people wanted to cooperate with the Unification Church in exchange for votes, but there were also people who disliked this cult and did not want it interfering too deeply in Japan's political power.

And among those people, the main ones were still those old political families.

Following the intelligence provided by the Organization, Rei first went to a hidden location to retrieve weapons, then began his killing spree.

...

Inside a villa in the suburbs of Tokyo, Nagasawa, the head of the Unification Church in Japan, was meeting with many of the Unification Church's collaborators in Japan.

Today was a major mass for the Unification Church, and also a day for an internal gathering.

Aside from a small number of Japanese officials, most of those who came were representatives of high-ranking officials who cooperated with the Unification Church.

In any case, those officials did not dare to be too openly close to the Unification Church, so during gatherings like this, they all sent representatives.

"Mr. Nagasawa, what is the main purpose of our gathering this time?"

Most of the time, the Unification Church and Japan's high-ranking officials were indeed in a cooperative relationship.

How could people who had risen to high office in politics be willing to be controlled?

Only when some people's weaknesses had been seized by the Unification Church would they have no choice but to obey its orders.

In that regard, the Unification Church's methods were no different from the Black Organization's.

"The reason I gathered everyone here this time is because of an important matter concerning Fujiwara Toru."

"Fujiwara Toru?"

"That's right, it's him. Our Unification Church invited him to join us."

"Oh? Did he agree?"

Someone asked excitedly.

Toru was the heir of the Fujiwara family, and he was also very capable. If he could join them, their strength would increase.

"He refused, but that doesn't matter. We will find a way to make him join us."

"Nagasawa-sama, that's the Fujiwara heir, after all. The Fujiwara family won't let this go."

"Hehe, that's why I need everyone's help. You are the new generation of Japan. As for old men like the Fujiwara, they have occupied their positions for too long. It's time for them to step down and let the capable take over."

Nagasawa-sama spoke with a smile.

As the person in charge of Japan, he was no fool. He would not confront the Fujiwara alone, but instead seek out political groups that had cooperative interests with him or were already hostile to the Fujiwara.

"We need to make the Fujiwara give up more benefits, and let those old men know that the times have changed."

Nagasawa's tone was low.

This was actually his real purpose, to strike at those old political families and seek more benefits for the Unification Church.

Toru was merely the excuse they would use to make trouble.

If Toru agreed to cooperate, then everyone would be happy. If he refused, they could use that as a reason to attack.

The Unification Church reverend in America believed that Toru was younger and easier for them to control.

Some representatives passed Nagasawa's ideas on to their leaders, which tempted quite a few high-ranking Japanese officials.

The cake was only so big, and everyone wanted a bigger slice, while those old Kazoku members occupied too many benefits.

If this had been decades ago, these people truly would not have been able to contend with those ancient Kazoku.

But times were different now. Japan was not even a complete country, and that gave them the confidence to confront those old families.

"Alright, let's not talk about this for now. Let's hold the mass together."

Nagasawa called everyone into the hall to begin the mass.

Hundreds of devout believers were gathered together. They knelt on the ground, shouting the Unification Church's prayers. The orderly and fanatical scene could easily shake people's minds and draw them into this religious atmosphere.

"God is the creator of all things, the universally primary energy. He has a dual nature, including male and female, physical and spiritual, internal characteristics and external form."

As the bishop presiding over the mass, Nagasawa loudly recited the Unification Church's doctrine.

As a religion founded in South Korea, the Unification Church, like most South Korean denominations, had developed on the basis of Christianity.

However, the Unification Church had also incorporated ideas from shamanism, Confucianism, and Taoism into its beliefs, making the entire doctrine look like a patchwork.

And the overall doctrine was still the same old theory of salvation, everyone is born with sin, God creates, humanity falls, and then rebirth comes.

Just as the religious ceremony reached its climax, a sharp voice suddenly came from the security guards outside the hall.

"Who are you?"

The answer they received was a burst of gunfire.

Da da da!!

Assault rifle fire rang out, and the security guards screamed.

A few security guards in suits rushed into the hall, gasping for breath as they shouted in horror, "Nagasawa-sama, outside, outside, two people are killing everyone!"

Nagasawa's expression changed drastically, and the other corporate executives and government officials were even more terrified, scattering in panic.

Nagasawa shouted loudly at the fanatical believers, who were still praying and had not moved.

"Everyone, do not be afraid, this is a test from God!"

As he shouted, Gin and Vodka, dressed in their trademark black clothes, walked into the hall.

Vodka carried a heavy machine gun in his hands. The big man strode forward like the wind with the gun. When he saw that there were hundreds of people in the hall, he shouted excitedly, "Brother, can I kill them all?"

"That's your task. Finish it quickly."

Gin had a cigarette in his mouth and urged him impatiently.

Vodka shouted excitedly and pulled the trigger. The 12.7mm bullets let everyone know what the Grim Reaper's scythe was.

The terrifying roar of the machine gun echoed through the room. Every bullet could tear a person apart.

Vodka dragged the machine gun as he fired wildly, as if venting the frustration he had built up from recent missions.

Gin simply smoked and coldly watched the hellish scene before him.

Those Unification Church members who were clearly in high positions were the first to receive Vodka's hospitality.

Just a few seconds later, the Unification Church's high-ranking Japanese officials, including Nagasawa and Aizawa Satoshi, had all been wiped out. Along with them, the 463 corporate executives and officials connected to the Unification Church were also blasted into mush.

But even so, those fanatical believers felt no fear. They still shouted about rebirth and rushed toward Vodka even though they knew they would die.

How could the flesh and blood of carbon-based lifeforms possibly withstand a heavy machine gun? Even a Tyrannosaurus rex would be torn to pieces here.

Vodka swept the hall with gunfire for a full minute, as if he were mowing down zombies.

The machine gun smoked, and the floor was covered with shell casings.

When the gunfire finally stopped, the only things left in the entire hall were more than a hundred mutilated limbs, severed arms, scattered flesh, and spilled organs, like a meat grinder on the front lines.

Seeing this disgusting scene, Vodka felt his stomach churn, while Gin remained expressionless.

"Check if there are any survivors."

"Brother, they're all in pieces. There's no way anyone survived."

"Then let's go."

"These people are really crazy. Not a single one ran, they even charged at my gun."

Vodka clicked his tongue as he looked at those fanatics.

Gin sneered. "People who believe in these religions are all fools. That's why they can be brainwashed so easily."

"Brother is right!"

The two quickly left.

At the same time, similar killings were taking place in multiple locations across Tokyo.

Chianti flew directly over downtown Tokyo in a helicopter, using a sniper rifle to shoot employees working in a certain building, acting extremely arrogantly.

The other members of the Organization also used their respective skills and began their assassination spree, killing all the high-ranking officials connected to the Unification Church based on the information given by Rum.

This was how the Black Organization operated. Anyone who opposed the Organization was killed, with no need for much nonsense.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's phones were almost overwhelmed. In just one day, more than a thousand people died, many of them in various assassinations. The whole of Tokyo was nearly thrown into chaos.

...

After giving the order, Toru instead went to a nightclub and sat beside a beautiful blonde woman.

"Beautiful lady, would you let me buy you a drink?"

The woman was Jodie from the FBI.
