Lexel stepped through the black vortex.
His first reaction was confusion.
His brows furrowed as he slowly looked around, waiting for something to attack him, some monstrous landscape to reveal itself, or, at the very least, some indication that they had entered a Dimension Raid. Instead, there was nothing.
No monsters.
No ruins.
No strange sky.
Nothing but a massive graveyard stretching so far into the distance that its end disappeared beyond the horizon.
And it was broad daylight.
The sun hung high above them, shining down upon endless rows of gravestones. Some were small and weathered, while others stood like enormous monuments, their shapes and designs differing wildly across the field. Thousands upon thousands of graves covered the landscape, packed so densely that there was barely any untouched earth between them.
Lexel stood still, Caladbolg resting in his hand as the breeze passed through the silent cemetery.
His eyes narrowed.
"...What the hell?"
