The scream echoed through the graveyard, and whatever composure remained among the adventurers finally shattered. Everyone scrambled toward the black vortex, abandoning weapons, formations, and anything else that might slow them down as panic took over.
"Get away!"
"Move!"
"Bastard, move away!"
Three adventurers managed to break ahead of the others, desperately sprinting toward the exit. They were only a few steps away when the purple-armored man suddenly dropped from above.
BOOM!
He crashed down directly onto them.
The impact shattered their bodies instantly. Cracks rang through the graveyard as their remains collapsed beneath him, leaving the others frozen in place. The scrambling stopped all at once.
"Eek!"
The purple-armored man slowly straightened.
He was now standing directly between the parties and the only way out.
