Vander Decken swaggered forward with a defiant gait, his eyes wide and his expression utterly grotesque.
"Ah!"
Shirahoshi shrieked and immediately hid behind Neptune.
Her three older brothers, led by Fukaboshi, were incandescent with rage. They instantly aimed their weapons at Vander Decken and roared.
"You shameless wretch! Prepare to die!"
Fukaboshi thrust his trident with all his might toward Vander Decken's head.
Vander Decken deftly leaped aside, avoiding Fukaboshi's attack. Although he appeared like a weakling, this guy was still the captain of a pirate crew, so he had a basic level of fighting strength.

Shirahoshi peered at him, then immediately retreated. Her tone was timid, yet incredibly firm.
"B-because you're too ugly!"

Vander Decken felt as if he'd been struck by lightning.
