That was it.
Summer's patience snapped. Her eyes turned cold as she looked straight at Georgea.
"You only know how to blame others," she barked. "Have you ever looked at the real culprit?"
Georgea faltered for a second.
"It was Danica," Summer trembled with suppressed anger. "The woman you trusted the most, the one you treated like your perfect daughter-in-law."
Her words grew harsher.
"She cheated on Adrian. She destroyed my marriage with Gideon. And she is the one who stole my child."
The room fell silent for a brief moment.
"Everything has come out now," Summer added, her eyes burning. "And yet… You are still blaming me instead of her?"
Her throat hurt as emotions threatened to consume her. Yet she blinked her tears away, refusing to break down.
"Do you still care about Danica after all this?"
