Georgea's surprise deepened, her brows knitting together in disbelief.
"What are you saying? Why would you say that?" Suspicion curdled her mind. "Did… did Summer tell you all this?"
Noel shook his head immediately.
"No," he replied. "Daddy told me."
Georgea stilled.
"He said pretty aunt is my real mommy," Noel continued innocently. "That bad aunty, Danica, took me away from my mommy when I was a baby. But Daddy found out the truth now. I'm really happy that my mommy is Summer."
Georgea felt as if the ground beneath her had shifted. Her ears rang. Her mind spun with the revelation.
So… the child Summer had given birth to was Noel.
Slowly, almost mechanically, she crouched down in front of him. Her trembling hands reached out and held his small ones.
"You…" her voice choked, thick with emotion. "You are my grandson…"
Her eyes welled up instantly.
