Reynold rubbed his hands together and he rubbed it again.
He was sitting in front of Officer Margaret's desk.
Officer Margaret was looking at him without saying anything as she wait for him to say what he wants to say.
She was holding her pen and under the pen was a paper she was not reading anymore.
Reynold looked at the floor, then at his hand which he has been rubbing since he sat down.
The first thing that was on his mind when he woke up this morning was to come here and ask her for his parents' service record.
He wanted to see it before going to Hollow Pass. It sounded like a good idea to him but now that he is sitting in front of her, he was not so sure if it was a good one.
Yeah. This was a big mistake.
"Green boy," (That is what the old officers called new recruits.) Margaret said at last as she put her pen down. "You have been rubbing your hands for two minutes. Either you tell me what you came here to say, or you leave and let me work."
Reynold swallowed.
