"Luna." At the entrance of Chaos Academy, Vivian, dressed in green men's clothing, waved to Luna, who had just walked out of the school gate. Chaos Academy had already let out for a while, so there were no students at the school gate.
"Why are you dressed like that?" Luna looked at Vivian, startled, and quickly walked over, looking at her with a mixture of amusement and exasperation.
"Are you captivated by me?" Vivian squinted at Luna, reaching out to hook Luna's chin, her voice low and deep.
"Not at all." Luna nimbly took a step back, avoiding Vivian's hand, and said with a smile.
"Sigh, women are so fickle. Last time she said she wanted to elope with me, but in the blink of an eye she turned her back on me. What am I supposed to do?" Vivian said with a pained expression, as if she had suffered a huge blow.
"Alright, enough with the nonsense. Let's hurry up and get going. If we're late, we'll be at the very back of the line." Luna said helplessly as she pulled Vivian's hand toward the carriage. "Besides, this is at the academy gate, and you're dressed as a man. It wouldn't be good if the students saw you."
"So, what does it matter? Does being a teacher mean you can't date? Principal Norvan didn't even say students couldn't date. Luna, your outdated thinking is no good. This is Chaos City, not Luo Du. A city of freedom should be lived in a free way." Vivian looked at Luna with a hint of exasperation.
"I don't want to be in a relationship right now. I just want to focus on teaching and pay more attention to the children who don't have enough to eat. Besides, I have so many other things to do." Luna shook her head.
"What else do you want to do?" Vivian asked, turning her head to look at Luna.
Luna turned back to look at the two words "Chaos Academy" and smiled, saying, "There are still so many things I want to do. After learning from Principal Norvan how to spread freedom and equality to the world, I want to go back to Luo Du and open a school to tell children what equality and freedom are."
"Boss Mai's cooking is so delicious, are you really willing to go back to Luo Du?" Vivian asked leisurely.
Luna's expression froze for a moment, then she gritted her teeth and said, "I will definitely go back. That's what I told myself when I chose to stay in Chaos City. That's my dream."
"I lost my dream because of a Spicy Grilled Fish." Vivian said noncommittally.
"I will absolutely not lose my dream because of a grilled fish." Luna said earnestly.
"Then, let's hurry up and go, I'm really craving my delicious grilled fish." Vivian took Luna's hand and got into the carriage, instructing the coachman to drive.
"Vivian, what is your dream?"
"My dream? Before, I just wanted to be a lazy bum who didn't have to move, and live out the rest of my days lying around. Now that I feel I can live comfortably, there's no need to keep lying around. What do you think, how about I become a teacher?"
"Don't you hate children the most?"
"Yes, I hate kids! But... sometimes I find them quite cute. I can feel a lot of energy in them, and I like them."
...
As mealtime approached, a long queue formed again outside the Restaurant Mai Mi. Crassus and Yulian had not yet arrived, so although the sweet and savory factions occasionally clashed, but the overall atmosphere was quite harmonious.
Constantine stood at the back of the line, glancing around every now and then, seemingly searching for someone.
"Will Miss Cheryl come to dinner tonight?" Constantine wondered to himself, feeling a little conflicted. When he asked Cheryl for her contact information at noon today, she completely ignored him, got into a carriage, and left, leaving him somewhat frustrated. He had been flirting with women for so many years, but this was the first time he had been ignored like this by a woman, which only fueled his desire to conquer her.
However, he had to admit that Cheryl gave him a feeling that was different from the women he had been with before, making him want to look up to her and treat her with care.
"That carriage!" Just then, a carriage drove towards the Restaurant Mai Mi. Constantine's eyes lit up. He recognized the carriage. Miss Cheryl had boarded this carriage at noon. His eyes were fixed on the carriage as he thought about how he could win her heart as she stepped off.
The carriage stopped not far from the Restaurant Mai Mi. The curtain was lifted, and Bluer gracefully descended the wooden steps. He glanced at the line outside the Restaurant Mai Mi, and his gaze fell on Constantine, who was standing at the very end of the line. He couldn't help but pause for a moment.
"Why is it this guy again? He's really persistent." Bluer frowned. He was bothered by this guy at noon today, and he didn't expect to run into him again in the evening. Does he live at the Restaurant Mai Mi?
"This this this...how did it become a male elf?!" Constantine's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at Bluer. He clearly remembered that Cheryl had gotten into this carriage, but now a male elf was alighting from it.
Although this male elf looked equally elegant, and was handsome, but he was certainly not Miss Cheryl.
He had initially thought that perhaps Cheryl would get off the carriage, and that they might have come together, but the carriage simply turned around and left, leaving only the male elf walking slowly towards the back of the group.
"Who exactly is this guy? Why did he get off Miss Cheryl's carriage?" Constantine couldn't hide his disappointment as he carefully examined Bluer. The more he looked at him, the stranger his mood became, and his heart inexplicably started to race.
"Hmm? What's wrong with me? Why is my heart racing when I see a male elf? Although this guy is indeed very beautiful, even more so than some women, but he is definitely a male elf! No, no, it must be because I'm too disappointed that Miss Cheryl didn't come." Constantine said to himself, taking a deep breath to relax, and then looked at Bluer standing behind him and smiled, "Hello, sir. May I ask your relationship with Miss Cheryl? I saw you get off her carriage. I wonder if Miss Cheryl will be coming to the restaurant for dinner tonight?"
"Hmm?" Bluer raised an eyebrow. He had intended to pretend not to know this guy, but he hadn't expected him to secretly remember his carriage and directly ask about his relationship with Cheryl.
"I was just curious, no ill intent." Constantine quickly said, seeing Bluer's displeased expression.
"Cheryl is my sister, she can't come because of something." Bluer looked at Constantine and said calmly.
