Many customers at the restaurant entrance turned their attention to Bluer. Pretty girls are common, but men who are prettier than girls are rare, especially a beautiful elf. He immediately attracted the attention of many women, and even the men couldn't help but take a second look.
"Sister?" Constantine looked at Bluer with surprise, suddenly realizing that Bluer's features did indeed resemble Cheryl's. If they were siblings, it would explain why he got off Cheryl's carriage.
"Yes." Bluer nodded slightly, not wanting to say more to Constantine.
"I am Constantine. You and Miss Cheryl look remarkably alike." Constantine said with a smile, looking at Bluer. Knowing that Bluer was Cheryl's brother, his mood relaxed again, and he began to subtly consider how to get closer to him.
"Beautiful people all look alike." Bluer said calmly. Although he didn't particularly like this guy, but considering his decent taste, he didn't feel any urgent desire to kill him.
"Yes, there are few elves in the world as beautiful as Miss Cheryl and you." Constantine nodded sincerely, finding himself increasingly fond of Bluer's appearance. But perhaps it was because of Miss Cheryl? He reassured himself.
"So many people are queuing up so early. Boss Mai's restaurant is really popular. I feel like it won't be easy to get a meal here in the future." The carriage stopped not far from the restaurant. Vivian lifted the curtain and stepped out, looking at the long queue at the door, and sighed.
"Boss Mai's food is worth queuing up for, that's probably what every customer thinks." Luna said with a smile as she walked out.
"Looks like our teacher Luna is also captivated by Boss Mai's food. That's a dangerous sign." Vivian said with a laugh.
"I know what I want, but you shouldn't lose yourself over a grilled fish." Luna said with a smile to Vivian.
"I don't even want children, how could I possibly become a stepmother? You don't need to worry about that." Vivian said nonchalantly, jumping off the carriage and then reaching out to help Luna down.
"The oranges seem to be growing well this year, and it should be peak harvest season now, right?" Luna said with a smile, glancing at an old farmer sitting by the roadside carrying two baskets of oranges.
Vivian glanced at Luna, patted her on the shoulder and said, "I'm going to buy some oranges. You stay here and don't move."
"No need, aren't we here to eat...." Luna said with a smile, but Vivian had already walked towards the old farmer, so she could only stand there helplessly. Vivian knew that Luna liked to eat oranges.
"The oranges are nice and cheap, so I bought a lot. You can take them back to your dorm to eat later." A little while later, Vivian returned with a small basket of oranges. She took two in her hand and put the rest back in the carriage, handing one of them to Luna.
"Thank you." Luna said with a smile, looking at the orange in her hand.
The golden oranges are about the size of an adult's fist, with smooth, golden peels and a small, tender green leaf on top, showing that they are freshly picked oranges.
The peel comes off easily, and fine white strands are pulled away from the orange flesh. Inside the thin, tender peel lies golden-red orange flesh, and the sweet and sour aroma of oranges wafts out. Just looking at it makes anyone's mouth water.
Luna gently broke off a piece of orange. The translucent orange flesh allowed light to pass through, clearly showing the plump orange segments inside. She put it to her mouth and took a bite. The rich orange juice overflowed from the flesh, and the sweet taste with a hint of sourness instantly spread in her mouth.
She felt as if she had instantly found herself in an orange grove, where the hillsides were covered with bright yellow oranges. The autumn atmosphere became incredibly clear in that instant, making her feel relaxed and wanting to feel the wind and taste the delicious oranges.
"So sweet, so delicious!" Luna opened her eyes, looking at Vivian with a happy smile.
"If it's so good, then eat more. There are plenty of oranges." Vivian smiled back, a hint of heartache in her eyes as she looked at Luna. Such a well-bred young lady, yet she was so frugal that she couldn't even afford oranges. When would this girl ever treat herself better?
"Mmm." Luna nodded, putting the half-eaten orange in her hand into her mouth, her face beaming with happiness.
Vivian silently peeled her own orange and placed it in Luna's hand.
"I feel like I'm almost full." After finishing two oranges, Luna looked at Vivian and said.
"That won't do. I'm planning to treat you to a big meal tonight. If you're full after just two oranges, wouldn't that be a huge waste?" Vivian raised an eyebrow, leading Luna towards the back of the long queue.
"Look, that elf is so beautiful, even prettier than a young lady." The two were at the back of the line. Vivian spotted Bluer at a glance and whispered in Luna's ear.
"Yes, he is indeed very handsome." Luna glanced at Bluer, also somewhat amazed. Long golden hair, a handsome face, a male elf who could be described as beautiful was proof enough of his stunning appearance.
Seemingly sensing the gaze behind him, Bluer turned around and glanced at Vivian. His gaze lingered on Vivian for a moment. The man was quite handsome, but he felt something strange about him. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. Perhaps it was the mutual attraction between good-looking men, or perhaps there was something about this man that interested him.
"What does he want?" Vivian saw Bluer staring at her and glared back defiantly. There are countless handsome men, but she wasn't so infatuated as to fall in love with every one she saw.
Bluer withdrew his gaze, not wanting to waste time on irrelevant people.
"This guy, how dare he ignore me?" Vivian raised an eyebrow, feeling uncomfortable being stared at, but also incredibly annoyed at being ignored, and almost wanted to punch someone.
"Whoosh—"
A gust of wind arose, and a colossal bat, blotting out the sky, appeared above Aden Square. In the blink of an eye, it was above the Restaurant Mai Mi. With a fold of its wings, it transformed into a man dressed in black. Looking at the queue below, he frowned, then his gaze fell directly to the front, and he chuckled to himself, "I am the progenitor of a level nine vampire. Cutting in line shouldn't be a problem, right?"
"You want to cut in line?" Yulian, who had just reached the entrance of the Restaurant Mai Mi with a hunched back, looked up at Dracula, who was about to land at the front of the line, and said calmly.
"I think you can give it a try." A carriage stopped, and Crassus stepped out, smiling.
