Elion looked around at all of them. "I know this is a lot," he said. "The system, the bloodlines, the goddess, the trials, and everything else." He leaned back slightly," And I do not expect you to understand all of it tonight; there is plenty of time to do that."
Mira tilted her head. "But you will answer all questions that will be raised eventually?"
"Yes, as honestly as I can."
Aria narrowed her eyes. "That sounds like you will still hide some things."
Elion smiled faintly. "It means some things are difficult to explain because even I do not understand them fully."
Aria put on a pondering expression as she brushed her chin thoughtfully, as if she was thinking about some impossibly difficult subject. "I guess that is fine."
The look on her face brought a smile to Elion's face. Aria was probably the one who was the most lost and confused. She was not exactly the smartest tool in the shed, but in his eyes, that part of her was also adorable.
