Tessa closed the door to her room with a soft click before turning to face Elion, who was looking around the interior with a somewhat deadpan expression.
The room was mostly empty, and it was obvious that it was rarely occupied, but it was also spacious and comfortable, as well as immaculate, indicating that someone made sure it was cleaned regularly despite Tessa's infrequent use of it.
A simple bed sat against the wall on the left, positioned in the middle of the room, with a closed closet standing on the opposite end.
Glass-paned sliding doors occupied the far wall, allowing moonlight to spill faintly into the dimly lit room.
A small lampstand rested beside the bed, while a simple study table had been placed near the sliding doors with a standing lamp sitting neatly on top of it.
A lovely carpet covered the floor around the bed, while simple grey and white sheets gave the otherwise plain room a surprisingly cozy atmosphere.
Elion looked around once more before smiling.
