A chill ran down Kenneth's spine, accompanied by the crisp, almost metallic scent of fallen snow scattered around him.
The sharp sound of a distant crow cawing in warning echoed through the air.
Almost every single past memory OG Kenneth had was about him. OG Kenneth was practically in love with him. There was no way he wouldn't remember him.
Discomfort lodged itself into his throat once more.
There was also a mix of annoyance he couldn't quite shake off, either.
Had it been anyone else, he would've walked away, no questions asked. He didn't care about the people from Kenneth's past, not the ones that didn't matter anyway. And he, Cian, whatever the fuck his last name was, was one of them.
They'd never talked to each other, at least not informally. A few hi's and byes. That's it.
So why the hell had he approached him?
"Hey," he spoke again. "Is it cool if we talk?"
Kenneth didn't know why, but it seemed his body refused to say no.
