Lucien turned towards the source of the sound, a little annoyed at being interrupted.
His brows lifted, however, when he saw the person, or more like several people, standing there, looking at them like they were witnessing the spectacle of the century.
Fae, Andrei, Lennon, and Yoosung.
All of them stood a few feet away, their expressions varying in a way that might've been amusing under different circumstances. Yoosung pressed his lips together, shoulders shaking with the effort not to burst out laughing. Andrei's gaze was sharp, observant—already dissecting the situation. Lennon seemed more curious than anything, head tilted slightly as if trying to piece things together.
And Fae, Fae's eyes glistened with raw worry, her brow furrowing deeply. Her eyes flicked between Lucien and Kenneth, lingering on the latter. "…Kenneth?" she called, her voice softer than usual.
