Chapter song: Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
Kenneth walked back to Lucien's dorm after paying Lennon a visit, still feeling that rush that came with defeating monsters.
It was a feeling that was becoming harder and harder to shake off. He was restless. Charged with energy he had no way of staving off.
When he walked inside, the smell of food greeted him. Something rich and comforting that made his mouth water and stomach grumble simultaneously. But it wasn't the scent of a good meal, nor the promise of food that sent him walking toward the kitchen, anticipation hanging high on his chest having not removed his boots.
It was knowing a certain man awaited him. A constant just like a light fixture that would never come down. Not unless he pulled out a ladder or a stool, and removed it himself.
