Zhao Mei Collapsed to the ground, still conscious but bleeding heavily from the back of her head. Luo Xinyi who was still in Zhao Mei's body felt the pain like it was his own which made him mentally curse Zhao Bei.
Zhao Bei squatted beside her sister, " Tsk,Tsk,Tsk...Look at you, big sister," Zhao Bei crouched beside her "on the ground bleeding to death helplessly. How pitiful"Zhao Bei said in an amused tone.
" You know, it wouldn't have come to this if you willingly divorced Xue Chen when he asked you. Since you didn't want the easy way we decided to do it the hard way. Which is...Finishing you off"Zhao laughed like what she said was funny.
Zhao Mei's body trembled faintly,Whether it was pain or anger, Xinyi had no idea.
" You know, we wanted to finish you off and then make a grand funeral for you, but that would be suspicious, wouldn't it? So, me and Xue Chen decided to just get ride of you and I will pretend to be you for two weeks because we will be moving away in two weeks and I can go back to being Zhao Bei."Zhao Bei said excitedly,she looked like a mad woman trying to act normal.
Right after she said that, the front door suddenly creaked open.
Zhao Bei flinched, nearly had a heart attack until he realized that it was only Xue Chen then she relaxed.
"Right. Honey you are back!"Zhao Bei exclaimed brightly, moving to hug Xue Chen like her sister isn't literally dying in front of her.
"Did you bring the things?"
" Yes" Xue Chen said and proceeded to take out the 'things'
While Zhao Mei was still conscious,Xue Chen tied her mouth with a cloth and they began to dismember her body. Xinyi's stomach dropped.
Zhao Mei was couscous...aware....feeling, the pain everything. Xinyi wanted to stop this madness, but he couldn't.
Suddenly, Xinyi felt like he has lost his footing and realized he was no longer in Zhao Mei's body but standing beside Xue Mian's door. Looking to his left, he saw Xue Mian standing there watching everything unfold. Xinyi tried to cover her eyes because this was absolutely not something a child should witness but he realized he couldn't, he was like a ghost in this world. He watched helplessly as Xue Mian witnessed her dad and aunt dismember her mom and put it in a plastic bag.
Luo Xinyi was disgusted by this.
Xue Chen was one thing...
He couldn't believe Zhao Bei killed her own sister just for a man.
After everything was done,Xue Chen left the apartment with the bag.
Where he took that plastic bag,

Cleaning the blood that stained the floor,Zhao Bei saw Xue Mian at her room door. She didn't pay much attention to her until she finished cleaning the blood.
She moved to squat beside Xue Mian.
" Why are you up, Mianmian?"Zhao Bei asked sweetly, which sent a chill down Luo Xinyi's spine.
" Where is Daddy taking Mommy?"Xue Mian softly asked. Zhao Bei's smile didn't falter, but it grew wider.
" Somewhere special." she said "From now on... you should call me 'mommy' okay?"Zhao Bei said.
" Why?" Xue Mian asked curiously.
" Because I am your new mommy"
Xue Mian stared at Zhao Bei for about three second before she nodded and headed to her room.
All of a sudden the world spun.
Xinyi felt dizzy, he closed his eyes for a split second only to realize he was back to standing in front of the door.
Cold sweat clung to his skin. 'That wasn't a dream...'
Feeling scared,he left his room and knocked on Zeren's door. The door was opened a second after he knocked. Xinyi didn't think much of it.
" Hey... uh, Zeren. I know we are not close or anything but can I spend the night here?.. Please?"
Immediately, Zeren smiled, " Oh yeah of course, come in."He said warmly.
"After what happened in your room a minute ago... I don't think it is safe there."
Xinyi nodded and was about to walk in but, he realized something. The door in this apartment all opens to the right, but Zeren door just opened to the left. ' All the doors in this apartment open to the left' Xinyi thought and soon a thought appeared in his mind.
' I didn't tell Zeren what happened. Fuck why me!'
Xinyi glanced at the clock in the hallway.
3:04.
His blood ran cold.
'Oh no!'
He took a step back. "...Zeren, what did you mean by 'what happened in your room a minute ago'? "
Zeren's smile widened.
" Oh," he said lightly "I mean with the ghost and... your vision" Zeren said. Xinyi breath hitched. He started to realize that this wasn't the real Zeren but an impostor. He broke out in cold sweat.
' come to think of it, Zeren rarely smiles, does he even know how to smile?' Xinyi thought.
" Ah...I think I remembered something. I will be back." Xinyi forced a weak smile and turned to leave. But his hands were grabbed by 'Zeren' who had a creepy smile on. " Where are you going Xinyi?, I thought we were best friends"Zeren said.
The voice was Zeren's voice alright but it sounded wrong. Too smooth...too eager for it to be Zeren.
Gripped by fear, Xinyi shook Zeren's hands off him and took off like his life defended on it, which it did.
