Eugene felt like funny things kept happening since he met Arthur again. For example, one day after officially being recognized as Hannah's father, the alpha called him while sobbing.

Well, he wasn't exactly sobbing, but he sounded as if he had committed a cardinal sin or something. Thankfully, it was Eugene's literature translation day, and he wasn't in the pharmaceutical company. Otherwise, Eugene had a feeling that the alpha would fall into a full-blown panic from the failure to contact Eugene.
