Eugene rarely felt like one anywhere, but he suddenly felt like an outsider.
Was it because he was the only one around the screens who wasn't included in the discussion? The writers weren't discussing it either, but they were already in their own discussion, talking about another intimate scene they had written for another stormy weather, and how it should look totally different from this one.
But...wasn't Eugene the one who said he wouldn't involve himself much in this scene because he wanted it to be a surprise? So what was this sudden feeling of annoyance?
Without realizing it, his gaze had been piercing a certain innocent sound editor.
"What do you think, Eugene? Good enough?" a question came from the producer abruptly.
Eugene almost flinched as eyes turned toward him, including that pair of browns. Used to Arthur's puppy gaze, the serious, professional-like stare surprised him more than the sudden question.
