Eugene stared at the door of the bedroom assigned to him and Arthur, and then swept his gaze over the rest of the villa. Yeah, he could see the rest of the villa while standing in front of the bedroom door because...his assigned room wasn't part of the main building.
Well, it was still attached to the main building, but not exactly 'inside'.
The villa that Allen--or rather, Sophie--rented was a nice, small white bungalow with a yard big enough for a van to park. There was a swing and a hammock on the porch, which was decorated with real climbing roses. The main building itself only had two bedrooms, so the owner built an additional, separate suite attached to the back, turning the building into an L-shape structure.
