The night before Hannah's first day at school, Arthur spent the night at Eugene's apartment and put his phone on a 'do not disturb' mode.
The night was spent with them inspecting the uniform for any creases or stray threads, polishing the shoes--again--and checking her bags to make sure everything she needed to bring--as stated in the guide--was already there. Even after lying down to sleep, Arthur woke up in the middle of the night and checked them again--and then again two hours later. Hannah was asleep, but she kept turning and mumbling to Mr. Powder incoherently.
At one point, Eugene was more concerned about his two bears catching a fever out of excitement and anxiety.
Thankfully, no one got a fever in the morning. The sky was clear, the weather was pleasant, and Arthur was creating a hurricane in the kitchen.
