Unfortunately for the parents, they couldn't stay the whole day to watch over their children's first day at school. The four overly attached parents, however, couldn't bear going home after the opening ceremony.
Allen was too jittery to work, and Arthur kept mumbling about Hannah's snacks. Even Eugene, who was usually level-headed, kept staring at the mini neutralizer he always took with him, as if the school would suddenly call him to ask for that--even though Hannah already had one in her bag and they had already informed the school of her hypersensitivity.
Sophie, who felt like she was the most normal among the bunch, suggested they wait in a nearby bistro until the kids finished their first day.
Interestingly enough, anxiety didn't stop Arthur and Eugene from eating as much as they usually did. If anything, they seemed to drown their nervouseness through food.
"Do you think other parents are like this?" Eugene muttered when his wariness didn't fade away after eating.
