Arthur's blush seemed to be endless. "That's..." he felt his throat constrict as he tried to push out words. But when Eugene arched his brow, Arthur replied quickly. "I'll...try."
Eugene patted the alpha's head. "Just so you know, I can be demanding too," he said, enjoying the way Arthur blinked dumbfoundedly. "I might demand you to keep yapping like you did today."
"I can't!" Arthur was absolutely red. At this point, it might leave a permanent tint on his skin. "I...can't..."
Eugene tilted his head. "Why? Do you really need to get drunk and in rut to do that?"
"It's just...it's just embarrassing..." Arthur bit his trembling lip. "I'm not good at...talking."
"That wasn't my experience," Eugene shrugged.
Arthur shook his head. "I can't do it while sober. I'll be too afraid I'll make you feel...icky," he lowered his head while fiddling with Eugene's fingers. "What if you become uncomfortable? What if you're fed up with me because of that?"
