Hannah had forgotten about it because of her grandpapa's arrival, but...she didn't finish school today! She started to become itchy, and it was hard to breathe, so she cried loudly. She remembered Toby was screaming at the teacher, and the next thing she knew, she had woken up at home.
Everything seemed to be as usual, so she easily forgot about it. But...seeing his papa and daddy looking at her like that...
"Is...is Hannah in trouble?"
"No, no--" her fathers immediately shook their head. "No, you're not in trouble, Princess."
"You may eat your pudding, Hana," her papa said with a soft, warm smile that quickly soothed her worry. "It's nothing bad. We just want to tell you that we're getting married."
Arthur coughed, choking on his saliva at how nonchalant the announcement was coming from Eugene. Hannah was blinking at them; the spoon still hadn't met the poor pudding. Meanwhile, Ian had the most appropriate reaction--surprisingly.
He gasped. "You're getting married? When?"
