After showing her newest scrapbook--since the old one was already in her papa's bookcase--Hannah pulled out a hardcover book and placed it on her lap. The cover had a Polaroid secured in the middle with cute washi tapes; 3D stickers of marine life decorated the rest of the surface.
"This is the memory book Hannah made with everyone for Hannah's sixth birthday party," the girl explained, gently stroking the photo of her majestic birthday cake on the cover. "Daddy made the whole cake for Hannah--pretty, right?"
Ian widened his eyes. "He made it himself?"
"Ung!" Hannah nodded with a wide grin. "Daddy made lots of pretty cakes for Hannah and Papa. They are yummy too, you know."
"That's...amazing..."
"Right?"
