As expected, Arthur knew Eugene's taste very well. All the houses, despite their flaws, met all of Eugene's requirements.
Of the five, he eliminated the house located beside an elevated road, because he was afraid of their energetic daughter running out and rolling down. Falling and getting scraped was fine, but breaking anything was absolutely no-no.
They also ended up eliminating the ones that didn't have fences and gates installed. They could do it themselves later, but it would take time, and they wanted to move in as soon as possible, regardless of the date of their wedding.
Truly, the more they talked to each other about things like dreams, and finance, and future plans, the more they wanted to walk in this path together. Eugene still wasn't sure about the bond thing, but he knew he wanted to live together quickly--even though, with the frequency of Arthur's visits, they were already halfway there.
