The saving grace was that this time, he had someone by his side. A whiff of pheromone every time he felt a bit uncomfortable immediately soothed his mind. The squeeze on his hand relaxed him further. Instead of worrying about himself or the babies, Eugene was more worried about Arthur. The alpha was pale; he was almost completely frozen until the doctor told him to focus on Eugene instead of what happened beyond the short curtain. A nurse even took a chair and told him to sit so his tall ass wouldn't be able to look over the boundary.
