Blue stared at the damaged cloak within the smoke, a smirk curling her lips.
That sneak attack just now made her feel absolutely confident.
"Hehehe… Hahahahaha!"
The sinister laughter grew from low and hoarse to loud and unrestrained.
The smoke in the sky gradually dispersed, revealing the Masked Man's battered form once more.
Half of his body had been destroyed by the previous attack!
Yet, without him doing anything his body began to regenerate.
Yes, it was reconstruction visible to the naked eye!
In the span of a single breath, the Masked Man returned to his original state. Delibird flapped its wings and landed back on his shoulder.
"We meet again, Blue I was wondering how to find you. It seems you've come to me instead."
The Masked Man floated lightly to the ground, his expression hidden beneath the ice mask.
"You…?!" Blue's pupils shrank violently. She hadn't expected him to possess such a horrifying ability.
"Bang bang bang."
At some point, a swift black hound with a skull-like pattern on its back had already rushed to Blue's side.
After several rapid charges and vicious bites, it forced Jigglypuff, Squirtle, and Nidorina back, heavily damaging them before leaping back to the Masked Man.
Houndour—a Dark/Fire-type canine Pokémon, classified as the Dark Pokémon, resembling a mythical hellhound.

From a massive tree beside the Masked Man, a large, spotted spider crawled out.
Ariados fired several webs—whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—shooting rapidly toward Blue.
"Come back!"
Blue reacted instantly, recalling her Pokémon while rolling aside to dodge.
But Ariados's webs covered an enormous area. There was nowhere to escape.
Just as she was about to be bound two streams of Flamethrower suddenly erupted from the side.
"Boom—!"
The blazing flames swept across the area, incinerating the webs completely.
A young man flipped through the air, landing firmly in front of Blue. He stared straight at the Masked Man and spoke calmly.
"In this world, only I'm allowed to bully my woman. You are not."
"Ace!"
Blue's heart finally settled when she saw him—but she quickly snapped back to her senses, grabbing his arm and trying to pull him away.
However, no matter how hard she tried, Ace remained firmly rooted in place.
"This is the person you've been searching for, right?" Ace squeezed Blue's hand gently.
"Today, I'll help you get your revenge"
With that, he pushed Blue behind him and stood tall, facing the Masked Man head-on in a challenger's stance.
"Hahahahaha… So you found yourself a helper." The Masked Man spread his arms.
"Young man, you have excellent talent. How about joining me?"
"I can promise you—one day, you'll become the strongest Trainer in Kanto."
As he spoke, the weakened Celebi had already been frozen by Delibird, brought to his side, and stuffed into its hollow, bag-like tail.
Ace didn't answer. He simply observed Celebi and the Masked Man's Pokémon in silence.

Ace narrowed his eyes. The bone-chilling cold caused his body to stiffen.
"Hmph."
The Masked Man snorted. Ice surged up from Ace's feet, rapidly climbing past his shins and freezing up to his chest.
"Ace!"
"Lop!"
"Roar!"
Blue cried out as Rapidash and Charizard entered combat stances.
"Senior, you wouldn't make things difficult for a junior like me, would you?" Ace said calmly.
"Interesting."
The Masked Man took the prismatic feather from Ace's hand, gave him a deep look, then turned his gaze to Blue.
He was still missing the Silver Wing.
As for Ace, he didn't bother dealing with him—confident that his ice was impossible for a human to break free from.
So he exposed his back without concern.
"Hand it over."
His tone was flat as he glanced at Delibird.
Delibird immediately reinforced its pouch with ice-type energy, preventing Celebi from waking up.
"Crack, crack, crack—"
Ice spread violently, sealing Blue's surroundings and freezing her boots to the ground.
"What are you waiting for? The Silver Wing. Hand it over."
Blue smiled mischievously.
"You're very strong, Masked Man… but you underestimated us."
As she spoke, "Blue" instantly transformed into a pink blob—Ditto.
Meanwhile, the real Blue stepped out from behind a nearby tree.
"Flamethrower!"
Ace's command rang out sharply.
Charizard and Rapidash spewed roaring flames simultaneously, soaring over Ditto's small body and blasting toward the Masked Man!
"It's futile."
The Masked Man waved his hand. An aurora-like ice curtain formed instantly, blocking both Superior Level flames with ease.
His eyes turned cold.
"My patience is limited."
"Oh?" Ace's voice suddenly echoed beside him.
"Then it seems you don't need patience anymore."
The Masked Man's heart clenched.
Before he could react two fists slammed down onto his back.
"Boom—!!"
Champion Level power erupted at point-blank range.
Even the Masked Man was caught completely off guard.
His body shattered, exploding into countless ice fragments.
In that fleeting instant, Ace caught a glimpse of the aged face hidden beneath the cloak.
"Cough, cough… you—" The Masked Man coughed violently as his body began to reform midair.
"You what, you!" Ace stomped forward fiercely.
"Today I'll smash your old man mask into eight pieces!"
"Delibird!" The Masked Man urgently barked the command.
"Deli!"
Delibird's beak glowed with icy light as it spun forward to intercept Ace.
Drill Peck—Flying-type physical move, power 80.
"Boom—"
Fist and beak collided head-on.
Ace was blasted backward, crashing into a massive tree and uprooting it completely.
Charizard and Rapidash rushed forward but were halted by Delibird's casual Icy Wind, unable to provide support.
In that instant, the battlefield turned perilous and the Masked Man seized the opportunity to reshape his body once again.
