"Heh… really?" Ace stared at the Masked Man, who remained motionless in the sky.
He knew very well that Pryce's body condition wasn't good. E

"Use Viridian Power!"
"Okay!"
Yellow spread her hands as a vivid green glow bloomed. Ivysaur shot out its vines, catching the frozen Celebi midair.
But before Ace and Blue could celebrate a massive ice claw suddenly seized Ace, freezing him in midair.
"Hiss"
The bone-chilling cold made it impossible for Ace to even blink.
"Cough, cough, cough…"
The Masked Man's body reformed once more—but this time, his figure was visibly hunched.
"Kid… you are very good!"
"Crack, crack!"
Two meters of thick ice instantly sealed Ace inside, freezing his expression solid.
"Ace!"
Blue cried out, releasing four Pokémon at once and ordering them to concentrate fire on the Masked Man.
He blocked them all with one hand.
Just as he was about to strike again a cute cry rang out.
"Bi"
Bathed in green light, the ice around the onion head shattered. Celebi burst free, flapping her wings and soaring into the sky.
Her blue eyes—rimmed with dark shadows—first locked onto the Masked Man, then snapped toward Ace frozen in the ice.
"Brother Ace?!"
Her telepathic voice echoed in everyone's mind.
Fury instantly flooded her expression.
"You… unforgivable!"
She spun in the air as a mysterious, ancient melody flowed from her mouth.
Black and red musical notes—laden with destruction—spread outward.
The surrounding trees visibly withered, decayed, and crumbled into dust!
The Masked Man froze.
"This is?!"
"It's Perish Song, you idiot!" Ace's voice rang out from within the ice.
In the next instant, his arm smashed through the frozen prison, his fist slamming straight into Pryce's chest.
He seized the prismatic feather in the same motion and used the recoil to retreat from the battlefield.
Once Ace was safe, Celebi's song stopped.
"Bang, bang—!"
The remaining two Poké Balls on Ace's waist burst open.
Milotic and Jynx appeared simultaneously—Hydro Pump and Psybeam erupting together.
"Deli!"
Delibird rushed forward, using its body to block both attacks. Its aura instantly dropped by more than half.
Ace had no intention of stopping.
"Houndour, use—"
"Hmph! You're going too far!"
The command was cut off by an enraged snort.
The Masked Man's shattered body exploded outward, forming a violent storm as ice and snow instantly blanketed an area over a hundred meters wide.
"Bi—!"
Celebi flapped her wings, summoning a shimmering green light screen that enveloped Ace and the two girls.
Protect: Blocks most attacks, nullifying damage.
The blizzard raged for a long time.
When it finally subsided, vast stretches of Viridian Forest were buried beneath silver snow and the Masked Man was gone.
"…"
Blue froze for a moment, then suddenly hugged Ace's arm tightly, pressing him into her chest.
"That was amazing, Ace! You made him run away!"
"Uh… it's fine, it's fine" Ace smiled, though his body felt weak.
Thankfully, he'd had a flash of inspiration inside the ice and spent points—otherwise, forcing Pryce to retreat wouldn't have been easy.
Still, after taking two solid punches, the old man would need quite some time to recover.
"Hm… Brother Ace, I'm really sleepy…" Yellow rubbed her eyes, swaying.
"Yellow, what's wrong?" Blue reached out, but the girl had already leaned against Ace and fallen asleep.
"She is the pure one chosen by Viridian Forest. This is a symptom of excessive energy depletion."
Celebi's voice echoed in their minds.
She then turned to Ace, narrowing her eyes playfully.
"We meet again, Brother Ace. I'm so happy to see you! Thank you for saving me again"
"Huh?"
Ace froze—just as Celebi dove into his arms, rubbing her onion head against his face and planting several kisses on his cheek.
"Uh… what's going on." Ace scratched his head.
"You ask me—how would I know." Blue was just as stunned.
"Hehe… Brother Ace will understand later" Celebi found a comfortable spot on his shoulder, closed her eyes, and smiled sweetly.
"I need to rest now… I'm so happy sleeping in your arms" She kissed his cheek once more and fell asleep sitting on his shoulder.
Specks of green light drifted from the forest, continuously merging into her body, slowly healing her.
"Uh… what do we do now?" Blue asked, staring at Celebi.
She knew better than anyone—the Masked Man had spent ten years chasing this little one…
"Let's go back first." Ace released Rapidash and placed Yellow on its back.
Just as they were about to leave—
"Woof…"
A weak whimper echoed from the snow.
Ace turned around.
In the distance, Houndour was curled up in a corner, barely clinging to life.
As Ace approached, he saw severe frostbite covering its body.
"You!"
His eyes flickered, and information surfaced.
