Speaking of Koga.
After his clash with Sabrina, he returned to Fuchsia City with Aya.
As a ninja, he possessed the heart of a martial artist.
One failure could never shake his belief in growing stronger. Thus, he chose seclusion, retreating into intense training.
Even though Aya resisted, she was still forced to remain behind.
She knew one thing clearly:
Since Ace was traveling across Kanto to collect Gym Badges, he would inevitably pass through Fuchsia City.
All she needed to do… was wait.
And during those long nights, her thoughts often drifted—back to memories that lingered far too vividly.
The frequency of changing sheets quietly increased.
With Zubat having evolved into Crobat, Koga's strength rose significantly, though his techniques lagged behind.
He entered a brutal training cycle, pushing himself relentlessly.
In the process, Aya's own strength improved as well.

Far away in Kalos, after returning to her hometown, Serena revealed an even stronger will.
After obtaining a Charm Rune from Ace and being nurtured by Soul-Locking Pure Essence, her talent in Rhyhorn racing bloomed completely.
Her thoughts were simple.
If her mother loved this path, then she would walk it to the end—for both of them—while waiting for the moment Ace would come for her.
That feeling… was comforting.
Through this, her relationship with her mother grew warmer than ever.
Whenever she had time, Serena recorded her daily life, saving it all for the day she could share it with Ace in person.
Occasionally, she sent him messages—but only rarely.
She understood that the boy she loved was constantly growing stronger. Too much emotional interference might only hold him back.
Her affection wasn't impatience or desire—it was a slow, mellow longing, one that didn't trigger space-time summoning, but instead fermented quietly in her heart.
—
"Ding dong—"
Ace was sitting on a fallen tree trunk, Celebi asleep in his arms, when his phone chimed.
Serena: "It's night over there, right? Look—this is today's Rhyhorn racing result~ I'm already close to my mom's best record from when she was young!"

Ace smiled and sent back several adoring emojis, asking about her day and exchanging small, ordinary details.
He liked this feeling.
Caring for each other—without restraining each other.
After a short while, they said good night.
Ace lowered his gaze to the small figure in his arms.
Celebi's eyes—framed by dark markings and shimmering blue—were strikingly beautiful.
Yet her tiny body, short limbs, and soft features gave her an almost sprite-like cuteness.
"Hoo… hoo…"
The little Forest God hugged Ace's finger, sleeping deeply, as if she'd finally found a cradle.
Moonlight bathed them both.
A gentle warmth flowed between Ace and the forest itself.
Without disturbing her rest, Ace simply held her closer.
—
[Ding, the Host shared a deep spiritual resonance with Celebi during her recovery, gaining pervert points ×5000!]
[Ding, Celebi's vitality is recovering under the nourishment of pure essence…]
Soft green light gathered around Celebi, her life aura steadily strengthening.
Ace exhaled slowly, feeling his own spirit cleansed.
—
[Ding, the Host received the Forest's Blessing. Physique significantly enhanced.]
A faint rune shimmered briefly on Celebi's abdomen before fading back into stillness.
Ace didn't push further.
He simply leaned back against the tree, allowing the forest's rhythm to guide his breathing.
Celebi stirred slightly, her expression peaceful.
—
By the time dawn approached, Ace gently stood.
It was time to move on.
The forest had accepted him and in return, it had given him its blessing.
