Nearby, Elysia, Creara, and Unara also continued to float in a relaxed rhythm, taking turns offering him bites of pineapple and grapes from the small bowl they'd brought along.
"Dream should take about another hour… same with the other Realities," he remarked casually, his gaze never leaving the glowing script.
"When it all ends… Dream in particular… she might find herself greeted by someone she'd either be thrilled to see… or dread."
With that, his focus returned to the novel, the black-and-gold pages shifting as fresh lines of text emerged before his eyes, the ink bleeding into existence as if being written solely for him in that very moment.
Ash leaned back slightly, golden eyes scanning the lines with growing focus.
