"You're making it too easy for them," Xeno retorted.
"I'm giving them a higher chance at victory," Uri said. "We need them to be able to take us. If any of our tribesmen see it, they will stop it. It will appear suspicious if they wanted to take us away, then suddenly decided not to. Also, we do not know what kind of danger we will be facing. It is best not to put them in harms ways."
Xeno and Visha couldn't argue. They know their own strength. There was no reason for them to put others in harm's way when they were almost certain they could break free on their own.
Without another word, the trio left the festivities. They clung to each other like lovers. To anyone unaware, because Visha carried their scent, they would assume the trio was going to find some quiet time. To the culprit, they considered their trick as having worked.
