"There is no reason for me I shouldn't have a chance to pursue him," Miela remained adamant.
"Even if he says no? Even if I say no? Are you planning to start a war between our tribe, because I don't mind. I don't care how big your tribe is. If you think about taking what's mine, I don't mind your head leaving your shoulders."
Visha leaned against Xeno as she spoke. Her tone was eerily calm. Her eyes met Miela's for the briefest moment, and she saw her go stiff.
"If you can't even meet my gaze, don't think about taking what's mine."
With that, the trio got up to leave. They didn't wait for Miela to think. They made their way to another secluded spot. They still wanted to watch the festivities. Tonight was just the beginning.
For now, everyone is indulging. Introductions are being made, bonded and non-bonded pairs are walking around and having a good time. There is music, food, and fun.
