The conversation began slowly and awkwardly.
"The first thing I think we should talk about is the body. You had someone pretend to be Uri. Why did you do it? What do you get from Uri being a part of the snake tribe?"
Xeno, ever the straightforward person. Couldn't hold back his questions. He made sure everyone knew what they were here to talk about. The area around them was quiet. No one walked nearby. So, although the question was asked, they were the only people to hear it.
Sendu spoke, "He is a serpent, why should he not be part of the snake tribe?"
Xeno shook his head. "I used to be part of the tiger tribe. I have never seen anyone hold on to their members as tightly as you do. It isn't because he's part of the serpent clan. You want something specific from him."
"We have already stated. He needs a better mate," Sendu replied dismissively.
Xeno looked over at Uri, pleading for help. He was never one for these kinds of conversations. Sendu wasn't saying much of anything.
