Chapter 221 - Reckless Hulk, Hidden Blade in Chaos

Hulk completely ignored Zhou Yi's questioning. He crouched low and leaped upward, hurtling toward the plane in the sky. It was clear he had reached the point of no return with General Ross.

His superhuman strength granted him unparalleled leaping ability, and he was above the plane in an instant. Looking at his tree-trunk-thick arms, no one doubted his ability to knock the plane out of the sky with a single punch.

Just as the pilots desperately pulled back on the controls to evade Hulk's attack, a black light suddenly flashed in their vision. In the next moment, Hulk's massive body seemed to be struck by a devastating blow, plummeting vertically toward the ground and crashing through layers of earth.

Only then did they notice the Dawn Knight hovering in mid-air, looking down at the Hulk below.

"I told you, Mr. Banner. This place is mine now. Without my permission, you won't take a single step out of line."

In response to Zhou Yi's blunt declaration, the Hulk roared and clawed his way out of the layers of earth. He felt belittled, and the sensation only stoked his rage. Hatred for General Ross, fury at the Dawn Knight, and all his previous anger coalesced within him, unleashing even greater power.

The force surged through his body, swelling his frame. His form rose again, his muscles bulging wildly, until he resembled a crouching hill. No one doubted his increased strength; his massive physique was undeniable proof.

"Bruce, don't do this! Listen to me, please don't!" Jennifer saw the change in the Hulk and knew he was consumed by rage. But this was not the time to lose control. She rushed forward, desperate to stop him.

Hulk shoved her aside, his green eyes blazing as he locked his gaze on Zhou Yi in the sky. He gathered his strength once more and leaped into the air. The surge of power was so immense that his takeoff detonated the ground like a bomb. The earth buckled and fractured, and he shot forward like a green comet.

This time, his target wasn't the aircraft. It was the Dawn Knight blocking his path. He knew that only by eliminating this obstacle could he settle the score with General Ross. With this clarity of purpose, his actions were decisive.

As Hulk charged toward him, Zhou Yi's own temper flared. He lowered his stance and charged to meet the green behemoth. The two figures collided in an instant, their clash of raw power erupting like a volcanic eruption—a torrent of force that was both awe-inspiring and terrifying.

The air thickened instantly before violently exploding outward. The near-catastrophic collision generated a massive shockwave, creating a colossal bubble of air that materialized out of nowhere. Everything within the bubble's radius was hurled outward, and the glass on the surrounding buildings shattered in cascades. The air itself seemed to solidify in their hands, transforming into a volatile explosive that ravaged everything in its path.

Zhou Yi's body was sent flying backward, but he quickly stabilized himself in mid-air. The Hulk, however, lacked such control. His massive frame plummeted downward at an even greater speed than before, smashing into the ground once more. The layers of earth that erupted and the billowing dust confirmed the depth of his impact and the sheer force of the blow.

"Stop, Mr. Banner. You're no match for me!" Zhou Yi said rationally, watching the Hulk struggle to climb out of the massive crater. But the Hulk was an entirely emotional creature. Zhou Yi's words only fueled his rage.

He charged forward, grabbed a wrecked car, and hurled it at Zhou Yi. Unsatisfied, he seized a second, then a third, until he had thrown everything he could see.

Zhou Yi silently activated his force field control. He halted the projectiles in mid-air, freezing them one by one. Then he began stacking them together, one atop the other. When the Hulk ran out of things to throw, Zhou Yi flicked his wrist. The compressed mass of debris shot toward the Hulk, now fused into a single, solid mass.

The sheer volume of objects Hulk hurled was so immense that, once they coalesced into a single mass, they formed a colossal structure—a behemoth even by Hulk's standards. In the next moment, this behemoth soared directly above his head.

Staring at the behemoth, Hulk roared and thrust his arms upward. His powerful limbs immediately braced against the descending mass, and the immense force began to warp the structure where his hands made contact. As he strained, the object teetered, threatening to be hurled back.

Zhou Yi had no interest in playing catch with the green giant. He immediately extended his hand toward Hulk, channeling a massive force into the behemoth the Hulk was supporting. An invisible force field enveloped the mass, instantly transforming into crushing pressure.

In an instant, the behemoth's weight seemed to multiply infinitely, forcing the caught-off-guard Hulk to his knees. But he still had reserves. With a guttural roar, he unleashed a new surge of power, forcing the behemoth back upward.

However, this action was ultimately futile, as Zhou Yi immediately raised the gravity field's intensity once more. Each time the field's level doubled, the pressure on the Hulk increased exponentially.

Under the crushing weight, the Hulk could no longer endure. Despite gritting his teeth and desperately resisting the immense pressure, his body had clearly reached its breaking point.

His body began to tremble, and one leg buckled. With a thunderous crash, he collapsed to his knees. The object he was holding shuddered violently, and the uneven force it exerted on him increased the pressure even further.

Seeing the Hulk's struggle—a mixture of pain, fury, and helplessness—Jennifer couldn't bear it any longer. She immediately shouted at Zhou Yi at the top of her lungs:

"Dawn Knight, stop! He's about to collapse!"

"I won't stop until he completely gives up," Zhou Yi coldly refused. "You should see that he's lost all reason. I can't let him continue causing more destruction."

"Damn it, didn't you say you were helping him? Is this how you're helping him?" Jennifer demanded, her voice hoarse with fury. Zhou Yi immediately responded.

"I *am* helping him. I'm helping him avoid making a terrible mistake right now. That's what I'm doing."

Jennifer bit her lip, her jaw clenching. She knew the Dawn Knight was right. But she just couldn't accept it. No one could watch their loved one suffer and remain indifferent, even if they knew it was for his own good.

As the Hulk let out another roar of agony, Jennifer couldn't help but charge forward. She didn't attack Zhou Yi, knowing it was futile. Instead, she chose to help the Hulk, to share his burden.

She rushed to the Hulk's side and reached out, helping him support the crushing weight above his head. With the combined efforts of the two giants, the massive creature began to rise, inch by inch. This was exactly what Zhou Yi didn't want to see.

Zhou Yi restrained Hulk's movements entirely to prevent him from damaging the helicopter. He knew that not only General Ross was aboard, but also S.H.I.E.L.D. agents hidden within. If Hulk destroyed the aircraft, it would mean declaring war on two massive powers simultaneously.

The military had already pushed him to the brink, forcing him to flee to a remote corner of Brazil and hide there for five years. With S.H.I.E.L.D. being even more powerful, any misstep would leave him with no sanctuary in the entire world.

His actions would give S.H.I.E.L.D. the perfect excuse to treat him however they pleased, without restraint. By then, even Zhou Yi would struggle to help him.

Yet the problem was, these two didn't understand his intentions at all. They desperately opposed Zhou Yi, even viewing him as an enemy at one point. This baffled Zhou Yi: was venting momentary anger truly so important?

Feeling the resistance from the force field growing stronger, Zhou Yi frowned and increased its intensity again, doubling the weight once more. This was nearly at the breaking point for the two giants below.

Hulk roared again, his knees buckling under the strain as he collapsed to the ground. Massive, snake-like veins bulged across his arms, a stark visual testament to the immense pressure his muscles were enduring.

Jennifer, though still standing due to her height, was also being pressed to her absolute limit by the weight above. Large patches of sweat streamed down her green skin, drenching her completely and leaving her in a state of disheveled misery.

Zhou Yi felt a pang of guilt for their suffering, but he would show no mercy. This was their choice, and everyone must pay the price for their decisions. This was the price they had to bear.

General Ross's plane began to rapidly withdraw from the battlefield. For him, there was no longer any need for his presence here. The events unfolding below were no longer his concern. S.H.I.E.L.D. would step in to handle the situation, and might even do a better job.

Just then, a violent tremor and a deafening crash erupted from a nearby building. A green figure suddenly burst through a window, launching a seemingly fatal attack at the plane in the sky.
