When Roxanna had finally calmed down a little, her husbands didn't immediately bring up what she had just told them.
Instead, they focused on taking care of her first.
They gave her roasted meat and fresh coconut water, making sure she had eaten enough and wasn't too stressed anymore.
Only after Roxanna looked much calmer did Zeir finally speak. "I don't think you should meet Luno for a while," he said. "Let me check a few things first. I want to make sure we understand what's really going on."
"Honestly, I don't think Roxanna should meet Luan either," Calen suddenly added. "I mean… he can read her mind too."
That was true.
If Roxanna stayed near Luan, there was always a chance he would hear her thoughts and realize that all of them were suspicious of his brother and considering how much Luan cared about Luno, that probably wouldn't end well.
