Half an hour later, the familiar fragrance of freshly brewed tea once again filled the eastern study.
Armada knocked gently before entering.
"I hope I am not late."
Arceus smiled.
"Not at all. In fact, I was the one who returned unusually early."
She took her usual seat.
"I heard. The servants seemed delighted."
"They looked happier than I was."
Both shared a small laugh.
The conversation soon shifted toward ordinary matters. Today's topic revolved around the relocation schedule for House Silver's servants and the temporary housing prepared in Dragon City. Compared to ministry affairs, these discussions were considerably lighter.
After almost an hour, the conversation gradually slowed.
Arceus quietly poured another cup of tea for both of them.
Without looking up, he suddenly spoke.
"Lady Armada."
"Hm?"
"I've been thinking about what you mentioned yesterday."
She looked at him with mild curiosity.
"My story about my husband's bodyguard?"
