Late that night, Armada returned to her guest room.
She closed the door softly behind her before walking toward the window overlooking the sleeping manor. Moonlight bathed House Silver in pale silver. The corridors that bustled during the day now lay silent.
She folded her arms.
A faint smile touched her lips.
"People believe trust is earned through grand favors," she murmured. "No… they place far greater trust in those who quietly lighten tomorrow's burden."
Her eyes drifted toward the eastern wing, where Arceus's office still remained illuminated by candlelight. He had already begun preparing tomorrow's work, completely unaware that from tomorrow onward, every difficult decision would first travel through his own thoughts… then quietly arrive at her door.
The days passed peacefully inside House Silver.
Ever since the Tauren Bridge matter had been settled, Arceus's evenings gradually became less stressful than before.
