The moment the monster hit the field, Yusaku immediately barked in a low voice.
"Next, I construct the Overlay Network with my Level 4 [Dodododo Warrior] and [Gogogo Giant]!"
"Xyz Summon—Rank 4, [Galaxy Photon Dragon]!"
A dazzling galactic projection unfurled across the air in an instant. A thunderous roar shook the entire Duel Arena as a massive dragon, draped in azure wings of flowing light, tore through layer after layer of radiance and circled above the center of the field, starlike motes shimmering around its body.

"[Galaxy Photon Dragon]'s effect, activate!" Yusaku said. "Detach 1 material from this card, then choose 1 'Photon' card or 'Galaxy' card from my Deck and add it to my hand— or send it directly to the GY!"
[Galaxy Photon Dragon]
[Materials: 2 → 1]
He smoothly pocketed the searched card, not pausing for even a beat as his voice continued.
"At this moment, the effect of [Dodododo Warrior] in my GY triggers! I chain the effect of the card I just searched—[Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal]!"
"First, [Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal]'s effect!"
Yusaku's tone sharpened.
"During either player's turn, if a Dragon Xyz Monster exists on the field, I can activate this—Special Summon this card to my field or my opponent's field!"
"I control the Dragon Xyz Monster [Galaxy Photon Dragon], so I Special Summon [Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal] from my hand!"
The instant his words fell, an ominous crimson silhouette wrapped in crackling lightning manifested. The dragon's entire body was formed from precise mechanical components, arcs of electricity snapping and popping as it planted itself firmly onto the field.

"Next, [Dodododo Warrior]'s effect!"
"When this card is detached from an Xyz Monster as material to activate that Xyz Monster's effect, I can add 1 'Zubaba' monster from my Deck to my hand! I choose the card with that name—[Utopia Onomatopoeia]—and add it to my hand!"
After securing the new search, Yusaku lifted his hand again.
"Then, I activate the other effect of [Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal]. When this card is Special Summoned, I can add the searched [Time Thief Temporwhal] from my Deck to my hand!"
"Pegasus, break every shackle and soar beneath the endless skies of the future! This is my world's opening—my absolute future!"
"Appear—[Number F0: Utopic Future]!!!"

"Next, I Xyz Summon by overlaying 1 Xyz Monster from my Extra Deck on top of [Number F0: Utopic Future]!"
Two intertwined radiances wove together, erupting into a silver-white pillar of lightning that shot straight into the heavens, rolling across the sky.
Countless hope-fragments converged and condensed, becoming star-etched armor traced with gilded patterns. Six pairs of crystalline wings slowly spread, scattering a storm of sparkling spacetime particles. A crown-shaped star core hummed, the crystal at its center flashing with a deep blue glow.
"Come forth—[Number F0: Utopic Draco Future]!!!"

With Draco Future successfully on the field, Yusaku turned to the Labrynth girl beside him, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly.
"Castellan-sama, I'm going to borrow your Trap."
That single line stunned Jiro Kuki and Susumu Sankaido across from them, both wearing the same blank, disbelieving expression.
"Borrow… a Trap?"
The thought flashed through their heads, and they immediately looked toward the set cards between Yusaku and Labrynth—instantly realizing what she had set earlier.
One Deck specialized in Xyz Summoning, the other in Trap recursion. Two builds that should have had no overlap at all—so why could Yusaku use Labrynth's Trap?
In Yusaku's turn, that set card should have been nothing more than a decoration.
The surrounding spectators were equally confused, and murmurs spread through the crowd.
"Wait. Why is Yusaku using Labrynth's Trap? Doesn't that card lock your Extra Deck into Fiends?"
Hearing that, Kouki adjusted his glasses. "It won't apply. The self-lock is on 'Welcome.' This one is 'Big Welcome'—it doesn't have that restriction."
"So that's how it is!" another player scratched his head, then asked, "Kouki, Yusaku said he'd end the Duel next turn, and he'd make them 'witness it' with their own eyes. Do you know what he's planning?"
Kouki gently shook his head. "Hard to say. Yusaku-senpai never plays by common logic. He might've even mixed Numeron into the Deck."
"Utopia and Numeron? Those are mortal enemies. Can they even be used together?"
At that moment, Kazetaro—who had just finished dealing with his own challenger—walked over and laughed.
"Who knows? He's always taking the most unconventional line. Normal people can't read his mind. Let's just watch."
On the field, Yusaku snapped his fingers.
"Then, I flip my set card— I activate the Trap [Big Welcome Labrynth]!"
"This card's effect: Special Summon 1 'Labrynth' monster from my hand, Deck, or GY, then return 1 monster I control to the hand!"
Jiro frowned. "Don't tell me you're running Labrynth in your Deck too."
Yusaku smiled faintly. "My Deck doesn't have Labrynth cards. But my GY does. Don't forget—this is Tag Duels. The GY is shared."
Before the words could fade, he issued the order.
"I Special Summon [Arianna the Labrynth Servant] from the GY, and I return [Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal] to my hand!"
Light exploded. A girl in black-and-green contrast tights, a keychain rope-dart in hand, sprang out of the graveyard's shadowed glow and landed lightly on the field.

"[Arianna the Labrynth Servant]'s effect, activate!"
Yusaku's gaze shifted to Jiro.
"If a monster leaves the field by the effect of a Normal Trap I activated, I can activate this effect— I draw 1 card."
"I used [Big Welcome Labrynth] and returned my [Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal] to my hand, so I draw 1!"
Seeing that, Jiro crossed his arms and sneered. "Relax. This field doesn't look like he's about to summon those 'legendary' monsters."
He shook a card that glowed with a faint red light, confidence overflowing.
"As long as he doesn't have that Special Summon lock, you know what that means."
Then he added, "And after all that summoning, our LP is already at 31,300! Even if we stood still and let them attack, they'd need several turns to clear it. There's nothing to worry about!"
Susumu's lingering tension eased a little, and he nodded.
"True… but he did say he'd end the Duel next turn."
Jiro snorted. "Just intimidation. The win condition is simple—drop the opponent's LP to zero. We're at 31,300, and his board still doesn't look fully built. Our LP will only go higher from here…"
He waved the red-glowing card again, utterly assured. "And I've got this in hand. It's fine."
Susumu finally let his guard down.
Keep laughing. While you still can.
Yusaku's inner voice was flat and cold. Out loud, he continued.
"Next, I activate [Zubababancho Gagagacoat]'s effect! Target 1 'Gogogo' monster in my GY, and Special Summon it!"
[Gogogo Goblindbergh]
[ATK: 1400]
The moment the monster hit the field, Yusaku swept his arm.
"Now, I overlay my [Gogogo Goblindbergh], [Zubababancho Gagagacoat], [Dodododwarf Gogogoglove], [Zubaba Knight]—all of them!"
"By the contract of the starrail, by the oath of guardianship! Cross the boundary of the twelve zodiac signs, and bear the brilliance of countless stars!"
"Descend—[Tellarknight Ptolemaeus]!!!"
As the chant ended, the four monsters became four streams of golden light and shot into the sky above the Duel Arena.
In the next second, the field abruptly darkened. Above the dome, a radiant zodiac star chart emerged, the twelve constellations gleaming like molten gold and forming an enormous stellar ring around the arena.
At the ring's center, a deep star-cloud vortex split open. Fine stardust poured down like a waterfall, gathering into a complex golden magic circle on the ground.
When the circle's patterns flared to life, a tall figure stepped forth from the stars—silver armor inlaid with blue-white gems like the Big Dipper, a translucent cloak woven of starlines flowing behind him, scattering glittering specks with every movement, a knight incarnated from the heavens.

The spectators had been wondering how Yusaku could possibly end the Duel during the opponents' turn. But when this monster appeared, expressions of sudden realization spread across their faces.
To avoid letting the opponents overhear and pick up key information, the players opened the game's chat group.
"This is it. I get it now. Yusaku's going to use this monster to skip the opponents' Battle Phase, right?"
A new message popped up immediately.
"Or he's going to end their Battle Phase so they can't attack, then cycle back to Labrynth's turn?"
…
"Bro. You seriously think that's possible?"
"Yusaku said he's ending the Duel, not just ending the Battle Phase."
"Then how is he ending the Duel? Any pros or analysts want to weigh in?"
After that message, the group fell into silence.
Then it was instantly buried by a new line.
"Why think so hard? Just watch. I've got Tendo lewds. Who wants?"
"Send me a set!"
"+1"
"+10086"
…
On the field, Yusaku had no idea a single summon had sparked such a wave of nonsense in the chat. He glanced at his hand, thought for a moment, then played another card.
"Next, I activate the Spell [Seventh Tachyon]!"
"This card's effect: Reveal to your opponent any 1 'Number' Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck among 'Number 101' through 'Number 107.' Add 1 monster from your Deck to your hand with the same Type or Attribute as the revealed monster, and with a Level equal to that monster's Rank. Then, place 1 card from your hand on the top of the Deck."
As he spoke, Yusaku drew a card from his Extra Deck and held it up.
"I reveal the Warrior monster [Number 105: Battlin' Boxer Star Cestus]. By effect, I add the Warrior monster [Utopia Ray] from my Deck to my hand!"
After securing the search, he flicked his wrist and slapped down another card.
"Next, I activate the effect of [Gagaga Boost Knight] from my hand!"
"I can activate this by revealing 1 'Gagaga' monster in my Extra Deck: Special Summon this card from my hand, then I can Special Summon 1 'Gagaga' monster from my hand as well!"
Before his words even finished, Yusaku had already pulled a card from his Extra Deck to reveal.
"I reveal [Gagaga Boost Knight] in my Extra Deck. By effect, I Special Summon [Gagaga Boost Knight] from my hand!"
A brilliant flare burst open. A warrior clad in silver armor, wielding skateboard-like alloy shields, slammed onto the field with a commanding presence, faint light patterns flowing through the seams of its armor.

"Then, I resolve the follow-up effect of [Gagaga Boost Knight] and Special Summon [Utopia Onomatopoeia] from my hand!"
A second pillar of golden light surged upward. A warrior of meticulous mechanical components, holding a flowing-light blade, descended and landed steadily on the field.
[Utopia Onomatopoeia]

[ATK: 1500]
"Not done yet!"
Yusaku's voice rang out again.
"Because I control an Xyz Monster, I can Special Summon the card I just searched—[Utopia Ray]—to the field!"
He slammed the card down without hesitation.
In the next moment, [Utopia Ray], its whole body radiating blue starlight, slowly appeared on the field.
