Drake walked toward the Gedo Statue.
Minato followed behind and repeated what Madara had said earlier.
"Drake, Madara claimed this statue is the body of the God of Order. He said if the nine Tailed Beasts are fused into it, a Wish-Granting Divine Tree will grow."
Drake stopped and looked at him in surprise.
"Madara told you that?"
"Yes," Minato nodded. "He even said anyone could make a wish to that tree."
Drake laughed.
"Sensei… you didn't actually believe that, did you?"
Minato scratched his head awkwardly.
"…Maybe a little."
Seeing even Minato almost fooled, Drake cleared his throat.
"That's not the body of any 'God of Order.' And what grows isn't a wish tree."
Minato blinked.
"You know what it is?"
"Of course."
Drake smiled.
"This is the shell of the Ten-Tails. When the nine Tailed Beasts are fused together, the Ten-Tails will be reborn."
"The Ten-Tails?" Minato asked.
Drake waved a hand.
"I'll explain everything after we return to the village."
Claiming the Statue
Drake placed his hand on the Gedo Statue.
His spiritual will surged outward.
Buzz—
A powerful mental imprint flooded the statue.
In an instant, the statue was branded with Drake's will.
He immediately sensed its condition.
"So its chakra reserves are almost depleted."
He nodded.
"Alright, Sensei. Let's head back."
He began pouring chakra into the statue.

and threw them onto the statue's head.
Minato jumped up as well.

The Statue Awakens

"Madara, I carried your corpse with me so it wouldn't rot in the wild."
Then his hand reached for Madara's throat.
"Wait! I have something to say—"
CRACK.
Drake snapped his neck again.
Minato laughed.
"So he's dead again?"
"What else?" Drake shrugged. "Let him tell another story?"
Minato thought for a moment.
"That must be a Sharingan technique. Reviving himself at the cost of one eye."
Drake nodded.
"Pretty much."
"Then he only has one resurrection left."
But just as Minato said that—
Madara's body flickered again.
His position shifted.
His fingers moved.
"He's alive again!" Minato warned.
Drake's hand instantly grabbed his neck again.
Now completely blind, Madara screamed:
"Wait Drake—F*** your—"
CRACK.
Drake killed him again.
Drake shook his head.
"Knowing he'll die anyway, he insults me? Ridiculous."
He glanced at the three prisoners.
The Three Traitors
Nearby:
Orochimaru trembled.
Danzō looked completely hopeless.
Hiruzen felt his heart sink to the bottom.
They had just witnessed Drake kill Uchiha Madara three times like swatting flies.
