'Huo~' Latios smiled at Pikachu, expressing his apology. He had mistaken them for intruders, not realizing they were friends his sister had brought home.
"Pika!!" Pikachu didn't hold a grudge; he happily accepted the apology, and the two Pokémon immediately began to play.
Latias joined in, and soon the three were soaring freely through the dense foliage of the garden. Pikachu hopped back and forth between the backs of the two dragons, thoroughly enjoying the experience of riding legendary Pokémon!

"Waaaaah!!" 'Huo~' Latios darted in, catching Ash and returning him safely to the ground. Latias flew down and nuzzled Ash affectionately.
"Haha, okay, okay. You're still a bit small. Stick to carrying Pikachu for now—you can carry me when you're older!" 'Huo~' Latias nodded, continuing to rub against him.
"She really wants to keep playing with you," Bianca noted.
Even she was surprised. It took her years to build such a bond with Latias, yet Ash did it in a day. "I'm sorry, Latias. I'll come back to play later! I have to find my friends now."
Despite Latias's pouting face, Ash remained firm. He wouldn't abandon his companions.
