Against this, Ash had only one Primary Legendary: the Shiny Rayquaza. How could he possibly win? His only option was to run and buy time for the Prison Bottle. But... a Super Pallet Person never just runs.

Ash stared at the seven gods. All of them, including the ones he considered friends, had glowing red eyes—puppets of the Shadow's hundred-year resentment.
"Six of them, huh? Heh! Just the way I like it! This makes it interesting, right Hoopa?" "Interesting... Interesting!!"
As they prepared, Unbound Hoopa's team unleashed a simultaneous barrage. Roar of Time! Spacial Rend! Shadow Ball! Ice Beam! Origin Pulse! Flamethrower! Dark Pulse!
Seven ultimate moves converged. The atmosphere shrieked, the river turned to mist, and the city trembled as if the earth itself were being torn asunder. Faced with this overwhelming wall of destruction, Ash didn't flinch. He swung his hand forward.
"Rayquaza, Latias, Latios—Dragon Pulse!" "Pikachu, Thunderbolt!!"
Three dragon-shaped energy beams entwined with golden lightning surged forward. Though outnumbered, the concentrated counter-attack collided with the gods' barrage.
BOOM!!!
A titanic explosion leveled nearby structures, shattering glass for miles. The shockwave sent citizens fleeing in terror. This was a war of myths.
While Ash's counter-attack bought a moment, the damage gap was clear. But as the smoke cleared, three brilliant lights pierced the darkness. The genetic crest of Mega Evolution manifested in the air!
From the mist, the Eon Duo emerged, their bodies glowing with the light of evolution. They turned purple, their frames becoming aerodynamic like futuristic fighter jets. Mega Latios and Mega Latias!
And in the center, a more majestic light erupted. A jet-black dragon soared out. Its ring patterns had turned into glowing red gems; its horns extended into a golden crown; and flowing, ribbon-like tendrils with the ∞ symbol trailed behind it like golden streamers.
Mega Rayquaza had arrived!

Black Kyurem charged a ball of freezing electricity—Freeze Bolt! It fired with the speed of light. Mega Latios banked hard, dodging the strike that instantly turned a nearby skyscraper into a solid pillar of ice.
Meanwhile, Mega Rayquaza activated its ability: Delta Stream! A mysterious turbulence filled the sky.
The intense sunlight of Primal Groudon and the torrential rains of Primal Kyogre were instantly suppressed, replaced by a howling, protective gale.
Mega Rayquaza lunged at the master of the Distortion World—Giratina! Giratina fired a massive Shadow Ball, but Rayquaza twisted its long body with the grace of a dancer, dodging the blast while weaving in a Dragon Dance!
"ROAR!!" Rayquaza's scales glowed emerald. It struck with the speed of a falling star, cutting through the very air. Its signature move: Dragon Ascent!!
CRASH!!! The impact sent Giratina hurtling into a high-rise, burying it in the concrete. Giratina retaliated with another Shadow Ball, which Rayquaza dodged with a second dance.
The stray Shadow Ball streaked toward the ground—directly toward Team Rocket, who were trying to escape.
"Wobbuffet, I choose you! Use Mirror Coat! Now!!" Jessie screamed.
"WOBBU-FFET!!"
BOOM!!! The god-level Shadow Ball slammed into the blue Pokémon. James, Jessie, and Meowth threw their weight behind him to keep him from being blown away.
They were pushed back dozens of meters, but Wobbuffet held firm!
With a defiant grunt, Wobbuffet's body glowed pink. The Shadow Ball doubled in size, swelling to four times its original volume, and was reflected back toward the gods with even greater speed!
