No one could survive that!)
The massive Shadow Ball struck a skyscraper, slicing it clean in half. The building crumbled into dust. Fortunately, most civilians had evacuated, or the casualties would have been catastrophic!

After the reflection, Team Rocket fled at top speed. Meanwhile, Ash and Pikachu, riding the Mega Eon duo, launched a counter-offensive against the God of the Earth, Primal Groudon.
Groudon's massive frame made it sluggish. The agile Latios and Latias easily danced around its attacks, peppering it with Dragon Pulse and Luster Purge.
Though Groudon's defense was immense, it looked like a helpless giant being swarmed by flies.
Unbound Hoopa, frustrated, signaled the other controlled gods to surround Ash. Its primary goal was to erase the small Hoopa; the Rayquaza was just a distraction to be stalled. Dialga, Palkia, and Primal Kyogre closed in.
However, the Mega Eon duo were like futuristic fighter jets. The encirclement actually backfired; the controlled gods, blinded by rage, began hitting each other.
The heavy Groudon took the brunt of the friendly fire. Dialga's Roar of Time and Palkia's Spacial Rend tore through the city, reducing skyscrapers to rubble.
Ash led them on a high-speed chase, but Kyurem stayed on his tail. Kyurem's tail suddenly flared with fire, and its form shifted once more.
White Kyurem! It channeled massive energy into its generators, unleashing a terrifying AOE: Ice Burn!
Red-purple cold flames filled the sky, freezing the very air. The attack was too broad to dodge. Just as the chill was about to claim Ash, a black shadow streaked across the sky. Mega Rayquaza threw itself in the way, shielding Ash with its own body.
Ice crystals formed on Rayquaza's scales. A 4x super-effective hit from the "Strongest Dragon" should have been a one-shot kill. Yet, to the world's surprise, Rayquaza shook it off, wounded but far from defeated!
[Professor Oak: Wait, look at the weather! When Rayquaza Mega Evolved, the harsh sunlight and torrential rain vanished, replaced by strange turbulence!]
[Steven Stone: Exactly! That's the Delta Stream! Under these air currents, any move that is super-effective against Flying-types has its damage halved! Rayquaza isn't 4x weak to ice anymore—it's only 2x weak!]
Steven laughed triumphantly, glancing at Alder. "Well, Champion Alder? Still think Kyurem can just walk over Rayquaza?"
[Alder: ...]
[Ash (Watching the screen): Mr. Alder... I know you want to defend Unova's legends, but Kyurem is currently the bad guy here. Rayquaza is taking hits for me! If Rayquaza loses, the world is in trouble!]
Alder went silent. Ash was right. Regardless of his pride, his region's strongest dragon was currently acting as a puppet for a demon.
[Steven Stone: But... does that black Rayquaza know Ash? Why would it sacrifice itself like that? Usually, Rayquaza is incredibly aloof and prideful. It only intervenes for global catastrophes. For it to follow Ash's commands and play bodyguard... is there some history here?]

Recovering instantly from the cold flames, Mega Rayquaza lunged. It coiled its body around White Kyurem and dragged the dragon down into the river. The extreme cold of Kyurem's body instantly turned the water into a massive glacier.
The two titans burst out of the ice, locked in a struggle. Rayquaza whipped its tail, glowing with blue energy, and smashed it into Kyurem's face—Dragon Tail!
Without giving its opponent a moment to breathe, Rayquaza fired a massive, dark-purple Dragon Pulse at point-blank range, sending Kyurem tumbling through the air.
Finally, emerald light cloaked the Sky High King. It accelerated to impossible speeds, striking Kyurem's core.
DRAGON ASCENT!!
The "Strongest Dragon in the World" crashed into the city streets, buried under debris, unable to rise. The black dragon hovered in the sky, looking down with disdain.
