Thor nodded slowly, his expression firming with renewed determination.
"Then I will find another way," he said. "Hammer or no hammer… power or no power… I am still Thor, son of Odin."
Back in Ethan's control room, the atmosphere remained calm—until a sharp warning beep echoed through the space.
A red alert flashed across the main screen.
Ethan's eyes narrowed as a new energy signature appeared on the holographic map, descending rapidly toward Earth.
Sharon stepped closer to the display. "That energy pattern… it matches the same readings from when the four Asgardians arrived—the pillar of light."
Ethan nodded slowly, fingers moving across the console as he analyzed the data. "Yeah… same origin. Same dimensional frequency."
He zoomed in further, his expression turning serious.
"…But this one is different," he added quietly. "The energy output is far higher… and far more aggressive."
Sharon's posture stiffened. "So another Asgardian is coming."
Ethan exhaled slowly. "Not just another one… Based on everything we've heard so far…"
His eyes hardened slightly.
"…this one's probably hostile."
Sharon immediately turned toward the communication panel. "I'm ordering Arasaka guards to evacuate all civilians within a five-kilometer radius," she said firmly.
Ethan nodded once. "Do it. Activate aerial surveillance and deploy drone shields. I want containment ready before whatever that thing is… lands."
Screens across the room lit up as alarms spread through the network. Drone units launched from hidden hangars. Armored vehicles moved into defensive formation around the small town where Thor and the others were staying.
On the live feed, Thor suddenly looked up toward the sky—his warrior instincts reacting before anyone else noticed anything.
The clouds above began to swirl.
A massive column of blazing light tore through the sky… descending rapidly toward the desert.
Back in the control room, Ethan folded his arms, watching the incoming signature with sharp focus.
"…Destroyer," he murmured after seeing the giant robot.
Sharon glanced at him. "You know what that is?"
Ethan nodded slowly. "Yeah… and if I'm right…"
' damm I slipped' he inwardly thought as he added.
"…this is a weapon of mass destruction created by Odin himself"
The ground shook violently as the blazing beam slammed into the desert… and a massive armored figure stepped out from the fading light—tall, silent… and radiating overwhelming destructive energy.
Coulson swallowed slightly. "…That doesn't look friendly."
Ethan's eyes glowed faintly as he scanned the Destroyer.
"…No," he said calmly. "…it really doesn't."
"Activate the Kaiju Protocol," Ethan ordered.
Sharon nodded immediately. Around the town, the armored vehicles surrounding the perimeter broke formation. Three of them rolled forward, metal panels shifting and unfolding. Their surfaces began to ripple like liquid metal, parts sliding and merging together.
"We're going to see it again…" one Arasaka guard muttered, staring at the transformation.
"Nah," another guard said with an excited grin. "It'll be way better this time—we're actually going to see it in action."
"I've been waiting for this," a third added as the vehicles fully combined, towering higher and higher until a massive humanoid machine stood before them—sleek, intimidating, and powerful.
Coulson stared, eyes wide. "You built a freaking Gundam?!"
Ethan shrugged casually. "I mean… who doesn't like giant robots?"
The colossal machine—Arasaka's combat unit, internally classified by Ethan as Megatron—took its first heavy step forward. The ground trembled with each movement as it walked past the outer perimeter and positioned itself just outside the town… directly in the path of the advancing Destroyer.
Dust swirled around both giants as they faced one another.
Arasaka guards activated their external comms.
"Unidentified entity," one guard's amplified voice echoed through loudspeakers, "stop where you are. Any further movement will be considered an act of aggression. We will respond with lethal force."
The Destroyer didn't slow.
It continued forward… silent… unstoppable.
Its featureless faceplate suddenly split open—revealing a glowing core.
Ethan's eyes narrowed. "Incoming—"
A massive beam of blazing energy erupted from the Destroyer's face, roaring straight toward the giant robot.
The Arasaka mech braced instantly. Armor panels shifted, locking into defensive configuration as its arm raised to shield its core. The beam slammed into it with explosive force, sending shockwaves across the desert.
Inside the control room, alarms flared.
Coulson grabbed the edge of the console. "That thing hits like a missile strike!"
Ethan's expression remained calm—but focused. "Megatron—adaptive counter mode."
Outside, the giant robot's optics flashed crimson. Its armor glowed faintly as it absorbed and redirected part of the incoming energy. Thrusters ignited along its back, pushing it forward through the blast.
Then—its massive fist ignited with crackling power.
With a thunderous roar of engines, the Arasaka mech lunged forward and delivered a crushing punch straight into the Destroyer's chest—sending the armored Asgardian weapon skidding backward across the desert, carving a massive trench through sand and stone.
Back in town, Thor and the others stared in shock.
Darcy blinked. "…Okay. I was not emotionally prepared for Earth to have giant fighting robots."
Jane whispered, stunned, "That's… not normal Earth technology…"
Erik looked at the eye catching Arasaka logo on the giant robot as he mumbled. "…I'm starting to think we severely underestimated the level of Arasaka."
The Destroyer rose again—unharmed—its armor reshaping instantly.
Back in the control room, Ethan scanned the Destroyer carefully.
"It can regenerate… but at a considerable loss of power," he murmured.
He ordered calmly.
"Megatron—break it apart."
Outside, the giant robot's hands shifted. Panels slid open as two massive energy blades extended outward. They glowed with a deep blue light—plasma-edge weapons humming with violent power. The air around them distorted from heat and pressure, and a harsh buzzing sound echoed across the desert, like a gigantic industrial saw revving to life.
The blades vibrated at supersonic speed, increasing their cutting capability to terrifying levels.
Thrusters roared.
Megatron dashed forward—faster than its massive size should have allowed—closing the distance in seconds. One blade swung downward in a diagonal arc, aiming to slice through the Destroyer's shoulder joint. Sparks exploded on impact as Asgardian metal met high-frequency plasma.
The Destroyer staggered back half a step—its armor carving open for the first time, glowing molten at the edges.
