Linda looked around and noticed the source of the cold air.
A container in the corner was leaking chilled water slowly, lowering the room temperature. But this had little to nothing to do with why the fish baby couldn't sleep.
Linda hopped to where it was, all theese while the silver slim prince scrawling after her.
She adjusted it carefully, blocking the cold draft, for one.
Then she tipped the container slightly resulting to some water spilling across the floor.
She immediately leaned toward the prince again and whispered. "Can you guide him over there?"
She pointed to the fish baby.
The silver serpent lifted his head.
Then he slithered slowly toward the back of the fish baby.
The baby noticed the much larger serpent approaching and instinctively crawled forward in fear, towards Linda. Exactly as Linda expected.
Little by little, the fish baby crawled toward the spilled water area.
Once he reached it, he laid down on the cool moisture.
