Aren saw the attack incoming and didn't fret; he simply used shadow form, allowing the spear to go right through his face. She was stunned for a moment, and that was all Aren needed. He very quickly closed the gap, grabbed her by her hand, and immediately hurled her towards a fence.
She slammed hard into it and fell to the ground.
In that same moment, the person that had attacked first with that blast showed himself; it was a man, tall and with a bald head, wearing body armor. There was a large black dot on his forehead.
Aren looked at that dot and instantly knew that something was up about it, and he was right, as in the next moment, the man unleashed a blast from his head, the same type that he had dodged a few minutes ago.
Aren crossed his arms while summoning his black armor and wolf guard. The attack slammed into him and threw him back; he flipped in the air and landed with both feet, skidding back for a few meters before finally coming to a stop.
