"Can I get the gate?" Aren asked.
"Hmm, indeed, it's pretty expensive though," the governor replied.
"I'm willing to pay for it," Aren said.
The man heard that, he raised a brow, Aren was in urgent need of it, he could tell.
He walked to one of the boxes at the corner of his room and popped the lid off, taking out a portable gate that looked far better than the one the old man wanted to sell. He walked over to Aren calmly and then handed it over to him.
"Take a look," he offered, and as Aren stretched his hands to grab the gate, the man pulled it back, "but first, I'd like you to see who is under the mask and who I am selling to," he said.
Aren froze, then shook his head, "that's not going to happen," he said in response.
