The spear struck with the force of a missile. An explosion ripped through the air after it hit, massive and extremely destructive. The entire building was affected, and many of the apartments were blown to shreds.
As the smoke and flames cleared up, the man saw a dome made of shadows covering Aren and his group, and the spear was lodged into it, but it did not penetrate deep enough.
The man flicked his finger, and the spear came flying out, spinning in the air, and then he caught it.
Aren undid his shadow dome and looked at the man in the air. He realized something. This fellow did not care for human life because that attack had managed to harm a ton of innocent people who were in that building.
"Aiden, Athena, Zero, check the building for anyone that's hurt. Help how you can. I'll deal with him," Aren said, and before they could even utter a word, he shot into the air.
