She looked at me with apparent confusion written all over her face, seeing her like this and even without her shaking her head soon after I finished asking her this I was already able to guess her answer .
Seeing that she had no idea about what was I talking about, I told her about what I found inside her abdomen, she was first embarrassed but then she become horrified, she looked at her hands and kept muttering :
So I'm the reason my mother died, I killed mother .
Seeing her like this, my heart softened a little and I comforted her by saying :
" Well, I can certainly tell that you have no control over this weird and unique power whatsoever, so I would say that you aren't what caused this but the power and that weird gate inside of might be actually be the things responsible, so there is no need for you to plead guilty or anything .
The girl still lowered her head down, but after I said this by a minute or two, she finally broke the silence and said :
You said that you might have a way to break my curse, care to clarify a bit more what you meant by that, can you get rid of that weird gate you talked about .
" You believe every word I said even though they might sound quite bizarre if I were to take about this to anyone else or I might be lying to you or even tricking you to lure you into doing something mischievous or indecent ? .
The girl was dumbfounded at my change of attitude and tone all of a sudden, she raised her head and looked at me, then she only said nonchalantly :
You are a nice guy .
What in the world was that even supposed to mean, but before I even say anything else, she carried on and said :
If you really wanted to hurt me, you got plenty of chances to do so before, but you didn't, you said you are going to heal my legs and you did, I already trust you with my life, as for why I believed you are telling the truth, well this was something that I kept to myself as not to make my relatives think that I finally become a crazy person .
I did actually sensed that gate existence every time the Moon become full, at most I sensed that something seemed to erupt in my body and if I'm not wrong that crack you described was the result of that eruption, so I can't really say that I'm this much surprised by this discovery, but I hope to hear your thoughts regarding this obscured situation .
As I heard her say this, I couldn't help but feel warm in my heart, it seem that I might really have been too harsh on her before, I forgot that she had her own history of struggles as well, her solemn expression and sorrowful eyes made me want to try and comfort her a bit more, but with the sorrow in her eyes, they were also filled with her resolve .
Seeing her like this I directly shared what I have in mind with her, I said :
" Well, even though I'm not sure whether the next eruption would continue to hurt you or not, I'm willing to give you the choice on what to do from here on out, the first option is for me trying to absorb all the Yin Qi you released then use it with a unique method I have to reseal that gate completely .
" With that there should be no danger for eruption in the future, but I believe you should be already aware of how destructive that power is, me sealing it might only be stalling for time, then the next eruption of it would be much stronger and much more aggressive as well, what do you think ? .
What exactly is that unique method you speak of, is it the golden energy you used to heal me or the white force you used to extract the Yang Qi out of me, will it be dangerous for you,... Tu Tu and my brother outside, what about the second option .
" Well to answers your question about the second option first before delving into those unnecessary question I would tell you about the second option first .
" This option will completely depend on you and on your own effort, if you choose this option then I will try and unseal that gate completely for you, but neither me nor you know what exactly might unfold if we did this .
" It's a process filled with nothing but uncertainty, we won't be able to know what to expect after we completely open that gate, I'm confident to be able to keep you alive, but choosing this option, I too will be cheering for you to control that power within you by then, else we both would very much end up dying .
I didn't hide anything from her, I didn't dare to, I will literally be the first one to bear with the burn of things went south, I'm not sure of whether the Panel would be able to save me this time, I guess we are going to see, I didn't want to speak of the second option before, but seeing her resolve, I in the end still decided to give her all the available options in front of her .
After she heard all that I have to say, she took a deep breath of air then after she finished making up her mind she finally said :
Do you really think that I might be able to control such a mighty power ? .
She looked at me earnestly as if my answer would be enough for her to make up her mind, I nodded my head and her question was instantly followed by another question :
Do you mind if I asked why are you certain that I might be able to do it ? .
" Well, to tell you the truth do you remember the question I asked you before, about cultivation art ? .
It was her turn to nod, I continued to say :
" There was something I want to confirm with that inquiry of mine, I also wanted to make sure of one last thing before I tell you my reason for trusting your ability this much, have you eaten something strange when you were young before this weird disease or curse befell on you .
She shook her head and with that, I told her the only reason I can think of that could explain her situation and clear some of her doubts, I said :
" You have a unique Physique, I'm not entirely sure on what it's called or what awakening it might entail for you, all I know was that this power was born with you and you should surely be able to tame it, if you decided on the second option, I might help you and shield some of the Yin Qi for you to have enough time to control it yourself, as long as you truly trusted me that is .
After I finished drowning her in this much comprehensive amount of information, I finally let her decide on what she was going to do in peace, stepping away from here, I looked at the book shelves which I only now had noticed, if someone were to come here from another direction, he woud mistake this place for a library, there were hundreds of books here .
Finding one book that seemed completely worn out, I opened it and saw that inside of it was the complete nothingness in its purist form, there was no titles, no words, not even a letter remained on any of the book pages, the yellow worn out pages were left there almost seem about to crumble at any second .
Opening another book, I found that it was the same thing, shuttling through all the books here in a swift manner, I found that all of them share the exact same state, suddenly I was called out to by Lu Hua, she seemed to have finally made up her mind regarding what choice she wanted to make .
Heading back to her with one of the books in hand, I saw that her eyebrows rose up slightly and then she once again acted as if nothing happened, but me noticing her reaction only made me more curious on finding out what exactly was going on here, so before she gave me her answer, I first gave her another question that caught her off guard, I said :
" Is this your doing ? .
I said this and pointed at the book in hand, I saw that his resolute expression suddenly faltered and she nodded her head weakly and said :
I'm not a monster, alright, I don't know how it works myself, the books were put here as to give me a way to entertain myself, but every time this weird power would erupt, the words in the book would appear in my mind at least part of the books content would, it was one book at first, then the number continued to increase, then I discovered by sheer coincidence that these books become blank like this .
After I heard her say this, I finally understood why was she saying that she was no monster, what a magnificent yet terrifying power indeed, after a few more questions regarding the assimilated knowledge she gain from these books, I finally understood now why Lu Jian was the one with the many questions and not her, she already assimilated most of the knowledge she gained and made it her own .
" Why would you be afraid to be called a Monster due to this, if anything people might start calling you a terrifying genius from here on out ? .
She let a weak chuckle that reeked of nothing but bitterness, then she surprised me with the words that came out of her mouth next, she said :
A genius, look at these books, which genius stop other people way of learning ? .
I was looking at her with bewilderment, unable to grasp what she was exactly implying, she seemed to realize this and continued to say :
My father had told me before that every stroke of a writing brush is a clear insight and indication to the intent left by the author, but now look around you, I have let all these authors perish because of me, their wills and intentions have all dissipated, I pursue Martial Arts with clear heart and mind, but which Martial Master would dare to teach me his moves now .
Which academy could possibly dare to accept me in as a disciple and be at risk of losing all scriptures, if this isn't monstrous, I don't know what is ? .
Finally understanding what she was implying, I couldn't help but chuckle slightly which earned me a deathly glare and he yelling at me for thinking that I was making fun of her, she was starting to even throw any items she could put her hand on as my laughter become louder and louder .
Vases, cushions, some of her clothes, only after she turned the room upside down and she no longer managed anymore things to throw it me, only then did she finally give this a rest, but she still said venomously :
What are you laughing at, are you making fun of me ? .
" To tell you the truth, I actually do, you have such a strange but powerful gift but instead of being grateful you decided to be so melancholy about it, your father's words are beyond doubt wise, but did he just that you can grasp the intention of the author just by preserving the book or by reading it and having full understanding of it .
" For some reason you talk about how those arts and work would disappear because your power made the words vanish, but aren't you already grasping the essence of the books and the intentions of their authors by truly assimilating their knowledge .
" You are angry at yourself because you had depraved the knowledge in these books from others, but I want to clear something up for you, words are easy to perish just as people do, but the difference that through sharing that knowledge you acquired, you can literally preserve the intentions of these authors completely on your own .
" You also can write them from memory as well, you tell me now, do you still believe that their knowledge and intentions are truly lost or are they living inside of you .
After my relentless explanation, the girl fell silent for a while and the cold face of hers suddenly cracked and I saw her raising her head to lock with my own and with a sweet smile, she finally said :
I understand, I willdo my best, I have also made up my mind, I want to try and control the weird power inside me .
So she still chose to gamble with me for the opportunity to solve things once and for all, I nodded my head at her enthusiasm and once again checked her body for any issue, but after that I still didn't do anything else which bewildered her .
" I want you to be clear here as you are clear there, can you do that ? .
I pointed at her head and wanted her to calm down as I was able to see that she was indeed nervous, her body no longer had an issue, but the next step is very much dependent on her Mental Fortitude .
She regained her cold piercing face and gaze, then she nodded her head and rested completely on the bed, I turned towards the door and opened it slightly and two bodies that were leaning on it and eavesdropping on us crashed on the floor as a result .
" You two should have heard what is about to unfold, so I suggest that both of you get out of here, stay at the safe distance lines drawn outside .
Lu Jian didn't comply instantly, he focused his gaze on Lu Hua and seemed to want to tell her something, but the latter just resolutely nodded at him and he started to move while pulling Tu Tu who was threatening to bite me to death if something were to happen to the young miss .
After the two left the place, I returned to her and not willing to waste more time than the time already wasted, I again used my Soul Power to invade her body, my consciousness sunk into where the gate was and as I stood in front of that gate, I started to wonder about what method shall I used to break open that gate .
I first arrived before it directly, the chilly cold that made a person shiver to death kept trying to freeze my Consciousness, but luckily the tea from earlier seem to have invigorated my spirit slightly .
I had a few methods that should indeed be able to make a few more cracks to appear on that sealed gate, but I'm not certain that the girl would be able to hold on, this was inside her body after all, I came here without a clear plan, but not without a triumph card .
My Consciousness made of Soul Power was still connected to my actual body, with just a thought, a green blurry projection of a Feather appeared hovering around me, the next second I let the Soul Weapon Projection clash directly with the sealed gate .
The second the sealed gate came into contact with the projection of mine, there was no big explosion or anything like that, the gate seal was like a keyhole that would only open if a specific key were to open it, surprisingly my Soul Weapon Projection was counted as that specific key .
The whole scene around me suddenly started to shake, the scenery around me was pitch black before had now cracks of light all over it, the gate was completely unsealed, the Yin Qi flooded the place and the first thing it deemed as a threat that must be dealt with was none other than me .
But just as my mind was already on the verge of being freezed to death, a notification sound appeared in my mind and I felt a hand griping my own hand, I started urging the Force Seed inside me and this time I tried to use the Yang Qi that I had acquired before in hope of using it to warm my mind and it actually worked .
But not without the Panel giving me an earful of notifications, telling me how dangerous that was just now, the Yin Qi was deadly and can effect injure spirit of living beings, but luckily I managed to survive this, I wanted to retreat in a hurry, but just as I wanted to remove my remaining Soul Power, I saw something crazy inside the now opened gate .
A whirlpool of dark and sinister energy seem to have formed, it was even colder than the Yin Qi and what unsettled me the most was that it was filled with only death, unlike any energy that I have encountered this far, but this wasn't the thing that made me pause in my retreat, inside that whirlpool, I managed to see a cocoon of purple energy .
Inside the cocoon was a naked person that shared a distinctive resemblance with Lu Hua, but this strange body in the cocoon seemed to be completely lifeless, my heart with filled with palpitations as I saw this, I instantly stopped using the Yang Qi to warm myself up and instead started to head into that whirlpool while absorbing the Yin Qi through the Force Seed .
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Force Seed was able to absorb the Deathly Qi around the edges of the whirlpool as well, the notifications sounds kept buzzing in my head, but now was neither the time or the place to dwell on such things .
Trying to pierce into the gate, there seemed to be something dangerous going to happen to me if I were to force my way in, instead I played it safely, I channelled some of the Yin Qi that I had already siphoned and not managed to process still and infused it in my aura and approached the gate again .
This time the gate didn't stop me, in fact the whirlpool sucked me in directly without giving me a chance to resist or do anything at all, I was inside the world inside that whirlpool .
