Chapter 221: Decisive Battle, Thunder Qilin vs Ice Phoenix!
More than 10 lightning orbs slammed into the blue white pillar of light. Lightning exploded, completely swallowing the pillar in a violent glare.
No one noticed that a few thin arcs of lightning crawled upward along the pillar, then quietly spread into the dark clouds above.
"Very good." Yu Tianlin caught that detail from the corner of his eye, and his heart finally settled.
He was ready.
The next moment, the blue white pillar shattered under the impact of the exploding lightning orbs, breaking apart into a blizzard of scattered snowflakes.
At a glance, it looked as if Yu Tianlin had used his 10,000 year Spirit Skill to crush Skywater Academy's Martial Soul Fusion Technique.
But things were not that simple.
"Hey!"
A piercing phoenix cry rang out.
The scattered snowflakes, as if grabbed by an invisible hand, suddenly surged upward. They converged at a single point in midair, rapidly sketching an outline, then refining it again and again until every detail became clear.
A 7 meter long ice phoenix appeared in the sky.
It was formed entirely from ice and snow, a true physical entity with a dazzlingly sharp presence. Its long tail feathers shimmered with brilliant ice blue light, and its eyes were clear and bright. Anyone who saw it would instinctively praise its nobility and beauty.
The Ice Phoenix circled above the central arena with wings spread wide, and Shui Bing'er's voice rang out from within it.

"Dragon Wings?" Shui Bing'er's voice carried a trace of surprise. "Tianlin, what are you planning to do?"
Even though she did not understand his intention, Shui Bing'er still controlled the Ice Phoenix to chase.
The battle on the ground instantly turned into an aerial fight, leaving the audience below stunned.
The Ice Phoenix was huge, so everyone could see it clearly. But Yu Tianlin was far smaller. The crowd could only catch flashes of lightning around him, unable to track his exact position.
Both sides could fly, yet neither was truly fast.
Yu Tianlin was built toward explosive offense. Shui Bing'er was built toward precision control. After chasing for a short while, Yu Tianlin suddenly vanished into the dark clouds.
Those clouds were no longer the earlier rain clouds that later became snow.
Now, lightning flashed within them, and low thunder rumbled without end.
"This is…" Shui Bing'er's expression changed.
These were clearly the clouds formed earlier by her and Xue Wu's Martial Soul Fusion Technique. How had they suddenly become like this?
But Shui Bing'er was meticulous. In the next instant, she understood.
When Yu Tianlin used Thunderous Might, his lightning orbs struck the blue white pillar, and some of that lightning climbed upward into the clouds. It had triggered the lightning attribute power hidden within them.
"So this was your plan from the start." Shui Bing'er smiled as everything clicked into place. "Borrowing the lightning in the clouds? Tianlin, you really do surprise me."
"I'm just curious how far you can take it."
Inside the clouds, lightning surged violently, as if something enormous was stirring within. A rugged silhouette appeared and vanished between flashes. In those brief glimpses, it became clear that the creature spitting lightning was a qilin, its entire body a deep blue purple.
"Roar!"
The Thunder Qilin burst out of the clouds with a domineering roar, revealing its full form.
It was about 10 meters long, even larger than the Ice Phoenix.
Yet unlike the Ice Phoenix's solid, crystal clear body, the Thunder Qilin was formed from lightning. It was less beautiful, but its ferocity carried an undeniable aura of domination.
From within the Thunder Qilin, Yu Tianlin's voice rang out, filled with a hint of awe.
"This is a technique I figured out, Qilin. Since it draws on the power of nature, it consumes less of my own Spirit Power, but its power is astonishing."
It was also a coincidence.
Ever since Yu Tianlin obtained the Dragon Wing Spirit Bone, he was no longer satisfied with only drawing lightning on the ground to temper his first Spirit Ring. He began flying into the clouds with his dragon wings, absorbing lightning again and again to raise the age of that first Spirit Ring.
Over time, Yu Tianlin gained a deep understanding of the lightning within clouds. Then, with a sudden inspiration, he created the Qilin technique.
"As expected of you." Shui Bing'er's voice carried a faint amusement from within the Ice Phoenix. "Then let's settle it once and for all."

The next moment, under their control, and to the shock of everyone below, the Thunder Qilin and the Ice Phoenix collided head on.
Lightning detonated.
Ice and snow shattered.
A blinding light swallowed the entire Heaven Dou Arena. The audience instinctively raised their hands to shield their eyes.
Then came an earth shaking roar.
Lightning mixed with rain and snow, sweeping outward like a storm wave and washing over the stands.
"These little ones really know how to cause trouble." Even with lightning and snow obscuring his view in the VIP section, Yu Yuanzhen could still sense everything. He shook his head, half helpless, half amused, then rose from his seat and vanished from the spot.
Emperor Xueye and the others were not surprised.
They had sensed it too.
Yu Tianlin, Shui Bing'er, and Xue Wu had exhausted all their Spirit Power, and all 3 of them began to fall from the sky. If no one caught them, they would likely be smashed to pieces on impact.
